LADIES DINNER & GAME NIGHT Our Dinner & Game Night will be this Friday,
at 5:30 p.m. at Brann’s Steakhouse, 12234 James Street in Holland. After our
meal, plan to come back to the church for simple games and snacks. Sign up at
the Women’s Ministry Counter today. This is a great way to meet other women
of the church in a fun and relaxed atmosphere!
MEN’S SATURDAY MORNING BREAKFAST Mark your calendar for breakfast
at Russ’ Restaurant on North River from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. every Saturday
through June 23. Join other guys for a great meal with great men and great
fellowship! Invite your friends! No need to sign up, just show up when you’re

YOUNGISH FAMILY EVENT This Saturday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to noon as
we’re having a Ladies Day! All the ladies will go get discounted pedicures while
the guys watch the kids at church. We’ll all come together at noon for lunch at
the church. If interested, talk to Pastor Joe or Kaylee Johnson to reserve your
spot. Total price out of pocket for the pedicure is approximately $15.
SUPER SENIORS Our next gathering will be on Wednesday, May 30, at 10:30
a.m. We are returning to a weekly get-togethers at church with hymns and Bible
Study followed by lunch at a local restaurant similar to our schedule last summer.

SUMMER HYMN SINGS This summer we will again be holding hymn sings at
the church from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Plan to join us for a great time of worship with
hymns, devotional and fellowship starting on Sunday, June 10 and continuing

3. Dear Parkside Friends: We recently received word from
GMI that you as a church intend to give $2,000 towards a
vehicle over the next couple months! What an incredible
blessing! Thank you all so very much for this pledge and
for your faithful support over these 18 years! We are
checking listings of used vehicles in Nicaragua and keeping
our eye out for people who may be selling vehicles before
they leave the country. Please pray that God will guide us
to the right vehicle with the right price in His perfect timing. Thank you so very

Ministry Highlight
PARKSIDE PRAYER
WARRIORS
Parkside’s Prayer Warriors meet every Sunday morning to pray during
the worship service for Parkside’s ministry, the service, the church leader-
ship, each other and the needs of our congregation. We currently have
24 committed men who are scheduled about every 6 weeks to pray as a
group of 4. But we would LOVE to have you join us!
This is a great way to get connected into the life of the church and anyone
can do it! We’ll coach you and help you along, and you will find it to be a
positive experience that adds depth to your Christian walk and life. You
don’t have to “know how to pray” or be a good “pray-er” to be a prayer
warrior. All that is needed is a willing heart and spirit with a desire for
God’s best for this church and the ministry at Parkside. We understand
that sometimes prayer can be an intimidating exercise for many people
and no one is required to pray out loud. Just being with other believers
and praying with the group is ok.
Please consider joining this ministry and praying with other Parkside
men a few times a year We are making a difference in the spiritual
battle and your involvement would be welcomed!

Children’s Worship Bulletins for ages 3-6 and 7-12 are
available each Sunday for pick up before the worship service.
They are located on the Children’s Ministry Counter in the
Fellowship Area, along with activity pouches for the children
who remain in the morning service.
WANT TO ATTEND GRACE ADVENTURES FOR FREE?
Two camp scholarships are available to Parkside students. Parkside offers 25% off up
to $100 and GGF has received a generous donation to help 100 kids go to camp this
year so that scholarship will cover the rest of the cost of camp, making it FREE!
Application forms are located at the Youth Counter and can be returned to Courtney
Cook or the church office. Apply ASAP. Openings in the Horse Camp are limited but
there are still lots of openings in the boys and girls camps. You can go online at
www.GraceAdventures.org to see what camps are available this summer.
CHURCH PANTRY For the month of May, we’re collecting
cleaning products such as all-purpose cleaners, toilet
cleaner, antibacterial wipes, dish and hand soap, laundry
soap, etc. for our Church Pantry. The drop off box is in the
Fellowship Hall by the Children’s Ministry Counter.
TUESDAY MORNING PRAYER Did you know that every
Tuesday morning the staff meets to pray from 11:30-noon for
our church attendees and the needs of the church and did you
know YOU’RE INVITED to join them? If you’re available during
this time, please consider joining others as we pray to our
Heavenly Father!
The Board Room is available during the morning service as an
option for parents who have babies. This provides them
an opportunity to care for their babies and participate in the
service. The service is shown on a TV screen in that room.
LOST AND FOUND! Please check out the Lost &
Found table in the Fellowship Hall. We have a
men’s black sports jacket, an XL black Columbia
Winter Jacket with car keys attached, black gym
shorts, a puppet and some jewelry. Items not
picked up will be donated.
