1. Business Directory Search Website Proposal
Project Description:
A business directory search which would populate results from an existing dataset in
Excel or CSV. The businesses are spread across various generic categories.
Customers and new businesses are able to register themselves for FREE and Premium
Listing, which is paid. Premium listing features an advertisement for the business on the
website, which circulates at various instances. Every customer should also have a
profile, showing information about their page views and hits.
Along with the business directory, the search displays the addresses of a local city.
Design of the Property Page is described below.

Business listing page consists:
1. Business Name (the title of the page is also the business name)

3. Google Map street view
4. Brief information describing the business
5. Contact Information /Website

7. ad-block in the sidebar

1. Property address(as the title of the page also)

Customer Login
New customers and existing users able to login using OPEN ID, Facebook, Gmail and
other social and media sites using their APIs.
The Search Bar
The search bar indexed with all the business data populates the results using AJAX. A
recommendation engine also works in the background to suggest most popular
searches.

2. Business Directory Search Website Proposal
Image Thumbnails
Website uses high resolution images with various thumbnail sizes. A mechanism for
storing image caches is highly advised to cut file size load on server.
HomePage
The Business Categories are displayed on the top of the homepage with small
thumbnails of the categories.
Homepage consists of a search bar(with bigger font for clarity) and voice search.
