2. COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY PROJECT
This year my
school held a
community
service day.
Out of many
options, I
chose to
volunteer at
Habitat for
Humanity.

3. We arrived early in
the morning and
our supervisor
gave us a tour of
the house.
Following his
tour, my group
was assigned to
painting boards
for the exterior
of the house.

4. We painted many
boards for the
house, and set
them on racks
to dry.

5. Our supervisor told us about Habitat for Humanity, and how
the family who will live in the house has to put in a certain
amount of hours working on building the house. This
experience opened my eyes to how lucky I am to live in
and afford a safe house.
