TIMING  A C T I V I T Y 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 WEEKS ON MARKET Timing is extremely important in the real estate market. A property attracts the most activity from the real estate community and potential buyers when it is first listed. It has the greatest opportunity to sell when it is new on the market. Most activity will take place in the first 2-3 weeks of listing. The excitement of a new property on the market will create an urgency for both buyers and agents to see it as quickly as possible. In many instances the home will receive its highest and best offers during this time. After that initial period, the only people to look at the property will benew buyers in the marketplace. Houses usually sell for the most money when they are priced properly in the beginning.
