PAMELA YOUNES
We have chosen ‘DRAMA’ as our genre.
 sex and the city
 When each character would dress to
  represent there personality,
 E.g. Miranda would wear nice formal clothes
  representing her being a judge
 Samantha would represent revealing clothing
to represent that she would be more of a
sexy looking trying to attract guys more esily
 Carrie wearing creative and every time
different representing her sense in fashion is
  what she likes.
 Charlie St.Cloud
 When Charlie had to pic either the girl or his
brother, in a particular scene and how that
    really touched the audience

 Jerry Maguire
 When he would tell his wife about the
incident and the drama that would happen
between them and the way she is acting to
prove she still doesn’t know what is
    happening
 What a girl wants
 When the stepmother locks her stepdaughter,
this would be stereotypical as the
stepmothers are always evil, which I liked as
    they would reinforce this.
0.00 – 0.10 0.30 – 1.00 1.30 – 1.40
                         The girl would be in
Would show the Stressed, so she
                        school and she would
     settings drinks a lot
                              be bullied

                            1.00 – 1.20 1.40 – 1.50
   0.10 – 0.20 Speeding the scene to
                                                 While she is drunk
Showing the audience another scene where
                                                 she overdoses with
the dead body she is conscious about
                                                     medication
                              her weight

   0.20 – 0.30 1.20 – 1.30 1.50 – 2.10
Showing how she had Takes us back to the
    Showing the
friends and lost them present, and can see
transition of a flash
all including her all the police and
back – special effect
                               boyfriend relatives
 Showing the settings
 Equilibrium
 Showing the normality of the movie, Showing the
  main Characters
 Disequilibrium
 When a climax would appear
 recognition
 A disruption would happen, it would destroy the
  normality
 An attempt to repair
 There would be hero’s trying to resolve this
problem trying to make it normal again
 New equilibrium
 This would be a teaser

Ithought that a teaser would be good as it
would include many enigmas The audience
would then know what kind of movie this
 would be

 Many films are a teaser such as
 Scream
 Nightmare on elm street
 This
would be non-linear as time would go
 backwards because of the flashbacks

Ihave chosen it to be this way as it would
make the opening sequence more exciting
rather it being; beginning, middle and end

 My
opening sequence would link to Allan
 Cameron - anachronic
Character Where is it set and
                       representation why?
The character The character This would mainly
committing suicide committing suicide be set at home and
would be rich and how she would deal
                       not happy with her issue
And the people who The peoples This would be set in
were involved in her representation to school and outside
life, for her to be these characters school as they would
depressed would be normal bully her
                       people with no
                       problems
Conventions Use/develop/challenge why
Crime use Because the audience
                                            should still be able to
                                            understand the film and
                                            not to confuse them
Gossip challenge We wouldn’t want to
                                            make the audience
                                            predict everything,
                                            which would ruin the
                                            suspension
Conflict use Without conflict there
                                            wouldn’t be drama
Friendship develop In drama films
                                            everything is split into
                                            groups
Confusion in life use It would make the film
                                            more interesting
 My titles / credits would be colourful as
drama would have different emotions and
meaning, and different colours would mean
 different things

I would keep them all the same font and
 size, it would be

 Arial and the size would be 54
 My target audience would be :

Types of audience Who are they
 Age PG
 Gender Male and female
Ethnicity All ethnicity; black, white, Hispanic etc.
 Social class Middle class
Sexual orientation Straight, lesbian, BI and gay
 Profession/role Any etc. students
