Question of:
*Rural development and its role in reducing poverty
*Sets standards for protecting and maintaining fresh water resource
THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY,
Realizing ‘The World Bank Group’ assumed that 25000 children in the world die
each day due to poverty, 1000 million people go to poverty, and around 28 percent
of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted,
Believing that poverty and death rate of developing countries’ could be decreased
by rural development at a world national level,
Recognizing the efforts of both individual nations and the Republic of India as well
as those of NGOs toward fighting this phenomenon,
Acknowledging the vital need for rural development that must remain a
fundamental value in all of our transactions,
Emphasizing that World Bank proclaims 75 percent of the world’s poor live in rural
areas. The Bank’s approach to rural development is multi-sectoral and focused on
2. improving the well being of rural people by building their productive, social, and
environmental assets,
Keeping in mind that all member states have agreed to enter in separate and joint
actions against any form of discrimination based on sex, language, or religion.
Reaffirming its respect for the national supremacy of all rural areas, and the
governments of all nations as the main governing force that should not be limited in
order to achieve our aims, that is reduce poverty,
1.Calls upon all member nations, national and international non-governmental
organizations, and other organizations to take the necessary steps to strengthen
international cooperation for the prevention, investigation, prosecution and
promotion of those responsible for rural development,
2.Requests the implementation of the provisions of the Program of rural
development system for the Prevention of the die of children due to hunger,
increasing poverty rate, by all member nations, in addition to the Agenda for Rural
development adopted at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
3.Calls for all developing nations’ governments to scheme every single-year rural
developmental program involved national raising contribution program in order to
reducing poverty, while simultaneously working with other government to intensify
cooperation between states of origin, transit, destination of rural development so as
to more efficaciously apprehend the perpetrators,
4.Further calls upon governments to take more extremely serious measures
dealing specifically with developmental program and the and nations’ poverty such
as:
i.improving cooperation between appropriate rural development programs
enforcement institutions with the worldwide networks,
ii.ensuring advocate for research that identifies and learns from indigenous efforts
by low-income people to work together to solve personal and shared problems or
create organizations that advocate effectively for social justice.
3. iii.establishing protection programs for those national poor people who are
suffering poverty and hunger, making sure to:
i.provide appropriate support systems for the poverty,
ii.technically raising volunteering service and fund for asset poverty ,
5.Agrees to remain actively seized of this matter.
