Silver has long been known to treat
infections, purify water and keep food
fresh.
As far back as 460BC the father of
modern medicine, Hippocrates used
silver to heal wounds and treat ulcers.
In the early 1700’s Angelus Sala used
silver nitrate to treat chorea and
syphilis.

Diabetes

2000, the estimated global diabetes prevalence was 151 million. In this newest edition,
the estimated diabetes prevalence for 2010 has risen to 285 million, representing 6.6%
of the world’s adult population, with a prediction that by 2030 the number of people
with diabetes will have risen to 438 million.
