Movement Behaviours They eat   flies such as  caddisflies, balckflies,mayflies, and stoneflies   when their yolk sacs run out, then they start to eat larger foods when the grow up Diet A newly hatched Atlantic salmon will feed off its yolk sacks and will hunt for flies. They will start to grow and hunt bigger preys, until they are big enough to go to the sea. They will migrate to west Greenland where there is plenty of food. They experience a period of rapid growth during the 1 to 4 years they live in the ocean. Once they are old enough they will return to the same stream they were born in to give birth to their young. Uses the tail and fins to control Its movement like other fishes.
