Possible Variants
The J2 Tool Changer is designed to revolutionise the
way subsea operations are done, to reduce costs and risk.
It enables connection of up to four hydraulic lines for power
and control of a tool or subsea structure without
compromising the hydraulic system or leaking hydrocarbons
into the sea.

hydraulic power pack
ROV manipulator stabs Tool Changer into
subsea structure and then manipulator arm is
free to perform other intervention operations

Use Case: J2 Tool Changer as diver operated hot stab
Diver places the hot stab onto the subsea
structure or tool and moves away.
Sends a signal to the vessel to energise the
hydraulics and tool ends are pulled together.
