We asked ourselves how we can help our own
clients to win new contracts with Askari.

The answer was obvious: Provide unique
features in the Askari system that gives our
clients a significant advantage over their
competitors, plus something that gives a WOW
                                             factor at the sales presentation.
                                                                             .

So Askari developed the new Real‐Time AR‐2002R reader that can both reduce the cost of
your supervision without compromising your guards’ efficiency.
Now you can actually show your clients exactly how you provide the best quality service with
your new Askari AR‐2002R reader features and walk away with big contract

What to do during your next sales presentation …
Before your next presentation take a moment to put yourself in the shoes of your future client. They will have
to sit through several presentations that are very similar, with every company claiming to be the best and
making lots of promises. Then they have to try to make a decision.
So here’s what you do: During your presentation take out your new Real-Time AR-2002R reader and show
your prospect how the real time readings are sent to your control room. Then show them generated reports
from your control room and explain them how you can monitor all your officers’ movements without leaving
your chair.
Now who do you think they are going to give the contract to... one of the ‘me too’ companies giving empty
promises or to the innovative company that just demonstrated how they can meet their quality standards and
be different from its competitors?

Congratulations, you just won another contract!

All Time Bestselling Readers

For years there has been a requirement for patrol data to
be sent directly to the control room without the
hassle of repeated visits to site or the complexity of
downloading patrol information via outdated, unreliable
modems. Until now the technology to provide a
solution to this problem wasn't readily available...

                                                                                      AR-2002R

Upgrade of AR-2002S

AR-2002F Super Durable Guard Tour Reader is the most recent upgrade of AR-2002S.

The new model inherits most of the great attributes and advantages of AR-2002S, e.g. button-free card
reading, shock and electronic shock resistant, and water-proofing, etc.

The additional feature of AR-2002F is the LCD display, which supports guard tours further with electron
clock, and display of the last four digits of the signal cards' ID-card being read.

                                    Data Collection Terminals
AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals are revolutionary new Askari products that incorporate many
proprietary technologies that greatly extend the concept of patrol monitoring readers. It can not only be used
to manage patrolling personnel, but can be used to enter complex data, and replace traditional paper-and-pen
based polling methods.

AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals works with the popular EM format signal cards, which are
low in cost and have been widely used in systems including work-attendance checking, access control, fee
collection, parking management, etc. The readers have been used in guard tour systems as well as other
applications including time and attendance, vehicle management,
animal identification, parts management, etc.

AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals are available in
two models:

The AR-2002K has 10 additional numeric buttons in
addition to the four operating buttons, allowing for fast
        data entry.
The AR-2002H is more resistant to damage due to the lack
of the numeric buttons. The user can use the "up" and
"down" buttons to scroll for each numeric entry.

Communication Stations and System Deployment Options
Our new Askari reader AR-2002R uses GPRS technology to transfer all the data to PC. All other
Askari readers work with communications stations. These communcations stations give the Askari
system flexibility of remote usage. Differrent stations are designed for various applications and can suit
most of your needs.

System deployment options:

Option 1: Basic or standard direct connection of the Communication station (AS-1000) to your PC via
USB connection.

The BS-1000 is used to register and upload data from wireless readers and also to program ID Cards on the
software. It connects to the PC through a USB cable and it receives data from the readers wirelessly.

Option 2: The best solution for supervisors where communtication station (AS-2000) has its own
battery and memory. There is no need for PC to download the data from the readers on sites.

The Supervisor Unit AS-2000 was conceived in order to facilitate the download of multiple readers from
multiple locations.
The Supervisor Unit works as an interface unit between the readers and the PC.
The supervisor carries AS-2000 along with him/her on the vehicle and then downloads the information from
the readers as he/she goes from site to site. The information is then accumulated on the unit which is then
brought into the office where the download of all readers is then downloaded to the PC.
                                          www.askarisystems.co.uk
Option 3: Another brilliant option to cut down the cost of supervision. As well as our top AR-2002R
reader this option allows data of the patrol to be sent remotely by using GSM network while it is
compatible with all readers.

Communicates with computer systems remotely via GSM mobile phone networks by sending SMS. Allows
data collection at locations where computer systems are not available. Stores data onto its internal memory
when GSM or land-line phone networks are not present for later uploading. Suited for use at locations where
the checkpoints are spread over large geographical areas. Also able to directly upload stored data to the
computer via USB cable.

Option 4: Same as the above but instead of GSM network, telephone line is used.

The Remote Station with Modem AS-4000 was conceived in order to enable the download of data from the
Readers from Remote locations.
Communication between the remote location and local PC is made through regular analog phone lines.
One pair of remotes AS-4000 and AS-4000m is needed for the first installation. Then additional BS-4000
units can be added for new locations. The AS-4000m receives data from the remote AS-4000 units at the
central location and data is then transferred to the PC.

Askari Main Brochure

  • 1.               We asked ourselves how we can help our own  clients to win new contracts with Askari.    The answer was obvious: Provide unique features in the Askari system that gives our clients a significant advantage over their competitors, plus something that gives a WOW factor at the sales presentation. . ASKARI RANGE OF PATROL MONITORING PRODUCTS      www.askarisystems.co.uk
  • 2. So Askari developed the new Real‐Time AR‐2002R reader that can both reduce the cost of  your supervision without compromising your guards’ efficiency.  Now you can actually show your clients exactly how you provide the best quality service with  your new Askari AR‐2002R reader features and walk away with big contract  What to do during your next sales presentation … Before your next presentation take a moment to put yourself in the shoes of your future client. They will have to sit through several presentations that are very similar, with every company claiming to be the best and making lots of promises. Then they have to try to make a decision. So here’s what you do: During your presentation take out your new Real-Time AR-2002R reader and show your prospect how the real time readings are sent to your control room. Then show them generated reports from your control room and explain them how you can monitor all your officers’ movements without leaving your chair. Now who do you think they are going to give the contract to... one of the ‘me too’ companies giving empty promises or to the innovative company that just demonstrated how they can meet their quality standards and be different from its competitors? Congratulations, you just won another contract! www.askarisystems.co.uk
  • 3. All Time Bestselling Readers For years there has been a requirement for patrol data to be sent directly to the control room without the hassle of repeated visits to site or the complexity of downloading patrol information via outdated, unreliable modems. • 8. AR-2002K AR-2002H Data Collection Terminals AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals are revolutionary new Askari products that incorporate many proprietary technologies that greatly extend the concept of patrol monitoring readers. It can not only be used to manage patrolling personnel, but can be used to enter complex data, and replace traditional paper-and-pen based polling methods. AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals works with the popular EM format signal cards, which are low in cost and have been widely used in systems including work-attendance checking, access control, fee collection, parking management, etc. The readers have been used in guard tour systems as well as other applications including time and attendance, vehicle management, animal identification, parts management, etc. AR-2002K/H Series Data Collection Terminals are available in two models: The AR-2002K has 10 additional numeric buttons in addition to the four operating buttons, allowing for fast data entry. The AR-2002H is more resistant to damage due to the lack of the numeric buttons. The user can use the "up" and "down" buttons to scroll for each numeric entry. • 9. Communication Stations and System Deployment Options Our new Askari reader AR-2002R uses GPRS technology to transfer all the data to PC. All other Askari readers work with communications stations. These communcations stations give the Askari system flexibility of remote usage. Differrent stations are designed for various applications and can suit most of your needs. System deployment options: Option 1: Basic or standard direct connection of the Communication station (AS-1000) to your PC via USB connection. The BS-1000 is used to register and upload data from wireless readers and also to program ID Cards on the software. It connects to the PC through a USB cable and it receives data from the readers wirelessly. Option 2: The best solution for supervisors where communtication station (AS-2000) has its own battery and memory. There is no need for PC to download the data from the readers on sites. The Supervisor Unit AS-2000 was conceived in order to facilitate the download of multiple readers from multiple locations. The Supervisor Unit works as an interface unit between the readers and the PC. The supervisor carries AS-2000 along with him/her on the vehicle and then downloads the information from the readers as he/she goes from site to site. The information is then accumulated on the unit which is then brought into the office where the download of all readers is then downloaded to the PC. www.askarisystems.co.uk
  • 10. Option 3: Another brilliant option to cut down the cost of supervision. As well as our top AR-2002R reader this option allows data of the patrol to be sent remotely by using GSM network while it is compatible with all readers. Communicates with computer systems remotely via GSM mobile phone networks by sending SMS. Allows data collection at locations where computer systems are not available. Stores data onto its internal memory when GSM or land-line phone networks are not present for later uploading. Suited for use at locations where the checkpoints are spread over large geographical areas. Also able to directly upload stored data to the computer via USB cable. Option 4: Same as the above but instead of GSM network, telephone line is used. The Remote Station with Modem AS-4000 was conceived in order to enable the download of data from the Readers from Remote locations. Communication between the remote location and local PC is made through regular analog phone lines. One pair of remotes AS-4000 and AS-4000m is needed for the first installation. Then additional BS-4000 units can be added for new locations. The AS-4000m receives data from the remote AS-4000 units at the central location and data is then transferred to the PC. www.askarisystems.co.uk
