没 有 鞋 子 宝 贵 的 一 课

There was once a little
boy named
La Lo Li.
He was in a way, a spoilt
brat, you can see.
以前有个小孩子名叫
La Lo Li.
可以说他是一个小坏蛋。

He was so lucky to get so
many toys.
But he remained one of
the most grumpy boys.
他很幸运，他得
到很多的玩具。
但他却是一个坏
脾气的男孩。

To his poor mother,
he was a headache
and an agony.
“我要这个，我要那
个” 他会不停地向母
亲提出要求。他令母
亲头痛万分和烦恼。
“I want this and that,” he would
nag his mother most constantly.

One day he told his
mother
demandingly,
“I must have a pair
of shoes – Reebok
or Nike !”
有一天，他又向妈
妈强求：”我一定要
一双鞋子 – Reebok
或Nike !”

“You have so many
pairs of shoes
already.
You should not be so
demanding and
greedy!”
“你已经拥有很多
双鞋子。别过分要
求和贪得无厭了“

But the bad boy kept
on complaining.
You would think he was
good for nothing.
不过这坏孩子还是一
直埋怨。这令人感到
他无一是处。

One evening his mother
took him for a stroll.
It was at the beach where
you could see waves roll.
一个傍晚，妈妈带
他去海滩漫步。在
那儿，可以见到
海浪在滚动。

La Lo Li suddenly
heard someone singing.
The melodious voice
was a most lovely thing.
忽然，La Lo Li 听
到有人在唱歌。
歌声异常优美。

“Who is singing so happily Mummy ?”
“Well Lo Li, walk on and we will soon see !”
“妈，谁那么快怀地在唱歌呢 ？”
“好 Lo Li，让我们走上前去，
一会儿便看到了。”

They came upon a boy
with a smile so sweet.
He had sparkling eyes,
lovely hair and pure
white teeth.
他们看见一个男孩，他
有一个非常甜蜜的笑容。
他的双眼炯炯有光，
头发可爱及牙齿洁白。

There he was singing
happily – so carefree
and meek.
When Lo Li looked
down, he was
shocked – the boy
had no feet.

Misty tears
flowed out of Lo
Li’s little eyes.
He realized that
to him, life has
been so nice.

活是多么的幸福。

He kissed his
mother with these
words flowing :
“Mummy I’m sorry
I’m always
wanting.”

Dear Boys and Girls :
Think of this carefully .
Appreciate
what you have happily.
孩子们，仔细的
想一想这句话：
珍惜你所拥有的。

So many suffering ones
need our love and care.
Count our Blessings – it
is time to give and share.
多少受苦的人需要我
们的爱和关怀。我们
要惜福-是伸出援助
的手和分享的时候了。
