4. Shooting process
They had to turn African American men into blonde white girls which
was very difficult. They had to:
• Make plaster casts of their faces
• Soften their strong jaw lines and cheekbones
• Make their faces bigger with layers of foam latex
• Glen Hanz created four separate foam ”appliances” covering the
entire face
• Develop a water-based acrylic paint in a bright orangey-red that we
airbrushed on them to cancel out the ash tones and over that, Revlon
Color-Stay foundation
5. • They got colored eye contacts to make their whole eye bright at the
whites and blue in the pupils
• They got straight blond wigs, the wigs were very important in hiding
the sides of their faces and their necks
• Cannom said It took six weeks of testing to perfect the body makeup
alone, they spend 60 days recreating the girls look every single day
and it was difficult for them because if they messed up it would ruin
everything. Marlon and Shawn were were hardly getting any sleep
between the makeup and working all day.

This review was published on May the 9th
2012.
This is a review from a critic who clearly didn't
know what he's talking about, there is no
such thing as ”Whiteface” but there is
something called black face. Blackface goes as
far as the 1800s, blackfaces was used to
criticize and create a caricature of how black
people are/look. It was used to make fun of
anyone with a dark pigment on their skin. The
reason why ”whiteface” isn't a thing is
because white people were not affected at
all, they weren't criticized and their skin color
was not used as entertainment for people to
laugh at.
9. Qualitative research- to find out more about
peoples opinions on white chicks.
• Matthews rated it a 6/10 because he found some of the jokes too cringe.
• Sam rated it a 6/10 because the pace of the film was too slow for him but
overall he thought it was good.
• Jamie rated it 5/10 because some the jokes were “flat” and the jokes
weren't for him but overall it was good.
• I would give it a 8/10 because I love the Wayans brothers especially
Marlon. I think they are both so funny and the fact that they were so calm
and kept up their moral during filming when they were barely getting any
sleep due to work and makes me appreciate the movie much more. The
movie was great because it was so funny and some of the things the
actors/actresses would stuck in my heads.
