MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT FORM
MEMBERSHIP YEAR 2010
The Nuclear Fabrication Consortium (“NFC”) is funded by a group of organizations (the “NFC Member(s)”)
who each will participate in, provide funding for, and share in the results of the NFC core studies programs in
accordance with this Agreement. Its purpose is to stimulate the re-establishment of a vibrant and responsive
U.S. nuclear supply chain. Membership is open to nuclear service, fabrication, and owner companies
worldwide.
Each NFC Member is entitled to one vote within the NFC. The NFC will elect (on a yearly basis, if
appropriate) a Chairman for a one year term. Governance of NFC activities will be provided by a Steering
Committee comprising two executives from EWI plus one representative from each of the NFC Member
Companies The membership may decide to fill the Chairman position on a more permanent basis and will
draw this individual from outside the NFC. The NFC Chairman is responsible for managing NFC meetings,
setting budgets, selecting meeting venues, awarding scholarships, and using the input from NFC Members to
help identify core research topics within the NFC budget. NFC Members will select and prioritize core
research topics on an annual basis.
Each NFC Member will be given access to an unlimited number (within reason) of confidential user names
and passwords for the NFC member’s only website. This website will house all meeting minutes, research
reports, news, etc. and will be the central clearinghouse for all NFC documentation. NFC core study reports
and results are confidential, and may not be disclosed to non-members.
Membership is valid from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 (the initial “Membership Year”).
Membership dues for participation in the NFC are $5,000.00 (USD), payable in advance. Additional
Membership Years may be purchased, with dues payable in advance of the Membership Year. For more
information, please contact Sheri Metscher (smetscher@ewi.org, 614.688.5066) or Nate Ames
(names@ewi.org, 614.688.5135).
If the NFC Members determine that the NFC is no longer a substantive value to industry, the Steering
Committee can, by unanimous vote, end the existence of the NFC. Any prepaid membership dues for
subsequent years will be refunded. Membership dues for the then-current Membership Year will be
nonrefundable.
