2. The Dravidians were peaceful farmers.
They did not stand a chance against the Aryans
with their fast chariots, metal weapons and
leather armor.
Many villages were burned and destroyed by
the Aryans because more and more Aryans
were invading the Indus Valley.
They were not trained for war because they
were peaceful.
3. Most of the Aryan settled in Punjab and a king
named Raja ruled small kingdoms.
Democracy was followed simply.
The RAJA was often chosen by a council of
older men and village chiefs.
The Raja was not really a king.
4. Aryan believed in gods of nature such as moon
,river ,thunder whom they called the shining
ones.
The chief gods were Indra the god of rain and
war,Agni the god of fire,Mithra the sun god
and Usha the goddess of dawn.
The bodies of their dead were burned.
The Aryans had no temples of the gods.
