What is Conflict Resolution?
Conflict resolution is the process of
resolving a dispute between two or more
people. Conflicts can happen between
coworkers, managers, managers,
teammates, or even between the service
provider and clients.
Conflict resolution is crucial to maintain a
productive and motivated workforce
How to resolve conflict in the workplace
Begin by listening to both
sides, understanding
perspectives, and
acknowledging emotions.
Encourage open dialogue,
find common ground, and
work together to find a
solution that is fair and
beneficial for all parties.
Conflict Resolution Activity
What Would You Do?
• What would you do if two teammates refused to speak to each other and used you as an in
between?
• What would you do if your boss took credit for your work during a meeting?
• What would you do if you heard that a teammate was spreading rumours about you?
• What would you do if one of your teammates did not reply to your emails for days, but you
saw them posting random, non-work comments on social media?
Time Management
Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time
spent on specific activities - especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and
productivity.
Time Management includes:
• Effective Planning
• Setting goals and objectives
• Setting deadlines
• Delegation of responsibilities
• Prioritizing activities as per their importance
• Spending the right time on the right activity
Time Management Activity
Divide your SP Jain tasks into four sections as follows:
• Backlog: This is where you brainstorm and list all of your tasks. Then you
choose which tasks to move to the To Do column and which ones can wait
their turn.
• To-Do List: You’ll work on the items in the To-Do section.
• In-progress: These are the projects you currently have in progress.
• Completed — Tasks you’ve completed.
Personal Grooming
• Bathe regularly
• Use deodorant/perfume
• Wear clean, ironed, professional clothing everyday
• Get a haircut. Comb your hair
• Ensure that your beard is neatly trimmed
•END.
