JOB RESPONSIBILITY/ KRA IN MANUFACTURING SET UP
Procurement:
• Prepare BOM/ Stock model for RM/PM for ensuring RM/PM availability, while improving on
company cash flow by optimizing stock levels.
• Ensuring highest efficiency in procurement through savings in raw / Packaging materials
procurement, to ensure alignment with budget and contributing on improving the bottom lines
through purchase dynamics
• Negotiating payment terms with supplier’s for ensuring cash flow.
• Vendor development for ensuring availability of backup suppliers for RM/PM.
• Ensure material availability at all times vis-à-vis production plans
• Plan for forward buying from all aspects including seasonality, criticality, quality and on cost for
procurements.
• Study all parameters for decision making in joint with Finance function.
• Prepare material requirements based on rolling plans (monthwise)
• Issue weekly call-offs to JIT suppliers and follow-up on deliveries
• Prepare Production Plans that meet forecasted requirements based on sales plan and are

consultation with production and marketing department

inventory level.

from Production Head.

coordinating team along with the schedules so that there will be availability of materials at any

zonal stores in such a way that time required to unload a material will be less and in turn labor

hours for material handling and perpetual inventory if the material gets scrapped / removed
from the stores at the earliest)
