RENEWABLE ENERGY IN YOUR HANDS
Renewable energy is currently, one of the most important technology and investigation fields in
the electrical industry, due to the increase of the electrical production in the world, its aims focus
mainly, in promoting solutions to eliminate the huge dependence around the uses of fossil fuels;
avoiding the global warming, and improving the living conditions of the developing countries.
Nowadays, the environmental problems that the world faces are directly related to the constant
use of fossil energies as coal, oil, natural gas, etc. Nevertheless, and being aware of the
negative impact that this activity brings to the world; sources of renewable energy as biomass,
hydropower, solar energy, biofuel, geothermal, etc., have being studied and used as
alternatives in the electrical industry, in order to promote a positive change around the well-
being of the population and the environment.
For this reason, and according to the negative impact of the use of fossil energies and the
intensive use of them because of the high increase of the population and its needs; it has been
necessary to start using alternative energies supplied by nature such as sun, water and wind,
with the purpose of satisfying the energetic needs of the world, without putting in risk the
environment and the population.
