Dalai Lama says he may choose not to forgo reincarnation. Because of disputes with China, Tenzin Gyatso may be the world's last Dalai Lama and leader of Tibet, reports spiritual consultant Nigel Mustapha.
2. The Dalai Lama has been
in exile since 1959, where
he moved away from a
bloody uprising.
Since then, he has not
been able to make political
peace with the Chinese
government.
3. His move to
refuse
reincarnation is
a final battle to
negotiate with
the Chinese.
5. With no future Dalai Lamas as the bottom line of their
negotiations, Tenzin Gyatso and China are likely to strike
some sort of deal before the Dalai Lama leaves this earth.
