The western swamp tortoise is the smallest
Australian tortoise. It's of color green and
yellow. It head it's smaller than it body and it
legs are very short.

The swamps where this turtle lives are formed by
winter rains. This turtle it's located in the Ellen
brooks nature reserve and in The twin swamps
nature.

The western swamp tortoise isn't in the red list,
because they live in places very protected.

In summer the female put 3 or 5 eggs, and 6
months later they born. They can take 10 to 15
or more years to mature and can live to an
approximate age of 40-50 years.
