This contract opportunity is for a procurement contract manager in the energy industry to manage supplier contracts for the procurement of electrical engineering assets with long lead times. The initial contract is for 6 months but has potential to be extended or become permanent. The role will involve liaising closely with engineering, managing existing supplier contracts, and overseeing order placement, management, and variation processes. Experience in procurement, supply chain operations, and working with engineering/technical assets is preferred.

We are searching the market for an appropriately experienced Contract Manager to join our client, initially on a 6 month contract
though with very real prospect for that contract to extend or become a permanent appointment. Responsibilities will centre on
managing supplier contracts in relation to the procurement of Electrical Engineering assets with long sourcing lead times.
This role will liaise closely with engineering and manage existing supplier contracts. Order placement and management, expedition
and variation management are at the core. Qualifications relating to procurement and supply chain operations will be considered
favourably, as will experience working with engineering/technical assets.
