• Neev created a full-fledged LMS that helped Apollo Munich train its large
number of insurance advisors distributed across the country efficiently and
cost-effectively.
• The video-based LMS with video streaming capability viewable across PCs
and tablets, provides a better learning experience to the advisors and helps
them learn quickly and easily.
• This helps Apollo Munich ramp up their advisor teams quickly based on
market demand.

4. The Client
• Founded in 2007, Apollo Munich Health Insurance is a joint venture between
India-based Apollo Hospitals Group and Munich Re’s health insurance arm,
Munich Health.
• Apollo Munich provides health insurance plans to individuals, families and
corporate houses.
• Besides health insurance, Apollo Munich also provides personal accident plans
and travel insurance plans for individuals, families and senior citizens.

5. Business Need
• Apollo Munich required a tool to train their large base of insurance
advisors effectively and quickly and thus provide the flexibility to ramp up
advisor teams as per market demand.
• The tool required to be viewable across desktops, laptops and tablets and
be accessible over low bandwidth internet connections.

6. Neev Solution
• Neev built a custom Learning Management system (LMS) called iLead using
Drupal 6 and AWS.
• Drupal Customization, video encoding and streaming was done via VASOP.
• The solution was optimized for portable devices like tablets and for smooth
streaming over low bandwidth Internet connections.
• Flow Player was used for Video streaming.
• A Custom Reporting Tool was also built on Drupal.
