6. An Online, On-the-go Classroom with Chat and Streaming Capabilities
About the client: Gateforum, a leading player in GATE preparatory market, has a presence in
over 45 cities in different parts of India.
Business Challenge: The client required an application that provides students the flexibility to
attend online classroom sessions from any place rather than sitting in front of a desktop. The
application had to allow students to access live videos and pre-recorded videos on demand,
chat with professors and view course schedules. The application had to function smoothly on
a range of Android devices and tablets. It had to stream video to even low-end devices.
Solution: Neev developed an application, eGate, using streaming server integrations and
HTML5 player. Standard MVC design patterns were used for AngularJS during application
development. The application has a single code base that can be wrapped on to both iPhone
and Android. The application was tested on a range of devices and different versions of
Android to ensure its smooth functioning.

8. A HTML5-based Application for Customer Feedback Collection
About the client: The client is a Dubai-based startup providing technology-based solutions to the
hospitality industry.
Business Challenge: The client required an on-the-go solution through which restaurant goers could
provide instant feedback. The solution had to then enable restaurants to reward points to customers
that could then be redeemed for suitable discounts. The solution had to provide valuable insights to
restaurant owners/managers on customer perception of their service/product. The solution was also
required to have a light front-end and a scalable back-end. It was required to work on all modern day
mobile browsers.
Solution: Neev’s on-the-go solution was a HTML5-based hybrid Smartphone application. The
architecture with JSON and Angular provided a scalable backend. The application consists of a single
page web service driven architecture. Automated build deploys were made use of. Cucumber scripts
were used to automate the testing of the web services. The application includes an integrated
analytics component that helps derive insights from available customer feedback information.
