Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities
My Personal Qualities
Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and
qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is
beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned
that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours.
As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on
my collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my
highest totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular
flask and test tubes. I also...show more content...
I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people
and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness"
in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind,
a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it
and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even
me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality.
A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because
I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning
styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic
and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last
year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The
results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can
be learned and strengthened.
I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I
found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am
mostly artistic,

The three things that have made the biggest impact on and have influenced my life that shaped
me into the person I am today are family background, experiences from my school year, and
religious beliefs. Our culture provides a lens through which we view the world and interpret our
everyday experiences. In order to know who I am today, I must look at who you've been. Many
educators around the country are interested in developing a multicultural approach in their teaching.
They find themselves in classrooms with 25 children of varying racial and cultural backgrounds,
and are looking for ways to connect what they do in the classroom to the cultures represented by
their students. Before we can begin to understand others, however, we need to understand ourselves
and what we bring to our interactions with others. Every time we engage with our surroundings we
create an experience both consciously and unconsciously. Our live experiences whether traumatic or
joyful shape who we are over time. An experience that has defined the person I am today is my
journey I went through as a child traveling back and forth from the United States to Mexico as an
undocumented. If a child has an impact when moving into a new house and neighborhood imagine
countries. I was brought to the United States when I was two years old. When you are a baby I
guess is not that great of a deal you don 't remember much. However, when you start going to
school and you are already half way through first grade,

My Personal Identity Essay
A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests
and surrounding environments are all factors that tend to help shape a person's identity. Some
factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a
person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture
may influence a person's sense of responsibilities, ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and
sports, and many other aspects of life. Friends and surrounding environments may influence a
person's taste in clothing, music, speech, and social activities. Personal interests are what truly set
individuals apart. An individual is not a puppet...show more content...
Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends
I despise are rap and hip–hop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music'
is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of
adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart
pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I
love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be
on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics
that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly
consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering
(especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is
measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very
strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that,
although some people just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will
not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational experiences also tend to influence a
person's identity. I have not had too many educational

Character, Morals, Integrity Essay
Character, Morals, Integrity Morals, character, integrity, what do these words mean....actually, the
question is, do you have them. A man named Dwight Moody once said, "Character is what you
are in the dark." You cannot see your morals, character, or integrity, these are only shown as your
values. Someone could only show their own values, which are very important to themselves and
everyone else. Integrity is the firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values. The
way you show your integrity, character, and morals or how they are effect you in either a negative
or positive way. There are many causes to how your values are. So as you know, integrity is very
important and it is important to have it. First of...show more content...
Laura stated, "integrity effects you by either being honest or not. If you are honest, then you
have integrity. People who say that they are going to do something do it." You can now see that
character, morals, and integrity are very important. Secondly, people may think that their values
may not affect them, but they're wrong, they affect them a lot. Since character describes how you
are and what your moral strengths are, having bad character could make people dislike you
because of how you are. On the other hand, if you have good character, then more people would
see how good of a person you are and even more people would like you. Morals sort of describe the
way you make decisions, so having bad morals could guide your life down the drain, while having
good morals could guide your life minute by minute toward noble goals. Integrity is also very
important. Having bad integrity could make you very non–trustworthy to others. Having good
integrity would make you very trustworthy to others. Knowing how important they are, you should
always have good or even better character, morals, and integrity. Also, there are many causes for
how your character, morals, and integrity are. One cause could of course be yourself. By hanging
out with the right people and making good decisions, you could have good values. Yet hanging out
with the wrong people and making bad decisions would be having bad values. Another cause may

I Must Describe My Attitude And Behavior
The way that I would describe my attitude and behavior when relating with people is alright in my
opinion I believe that I do not come off as being rude, as being caring, and sincere. The way that I
would describe myself in stressful situations is that I tend to panic right away instead of stopping
and thinking what should I do to resolve this problem. Instead of panicking and stressing out right
away maybe I should ask the other person what I should do or what they would do. Non– Verbal
Behavior : I would describe the messages that my nonverbal behavior send is that I act very
approachable to others, people always tell me that I am always happy and smiling, and that
whenever people see me I am always smiling. Listening skills: The way that I would describe
myself when listening to others is first I let them speak to get their whole point across. I
sometimes interrupt, and I also ask questions, as well as pay close attention to what the person is
saying but I also tend to dose off somewhere else, and I do get easily distracted by noises, or other
conversations. I sometimes tend to connect to my own experiences but, often take the focus off
the other person and go on and on. I would describe myself as being warm to people, but young
people my age find me less approachable, because of my lack of confidence. But older people
children find me very approachable, kind, and warm that is because I am more confident with that
age group. Some people have told me that my face

Creative Person
A creative person is someone who uses their imagination and intuition to create something new or to
make changes to something that already exists. Creative people have many attributes such as
openness to new experiences, observance, curiosity, personal freedom, a willingness to take risks,
self reliance, persistence and the freedom from fear of failure. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivations are
the two most commonly used methods of creative motivation. Intrinsic motivation refers to
motivation that comes from inside an individual rather than from any external or outside rewards,
such as money or grades. The motivation comes from the pleasure one gets from the task itself or
from the sense of satisfaction in completing or even working on a...show more content...
It would be good for me to develop non–attachment also as I can't get attached to things I do and I
always want my preferences. It would also be good for me to develop skills that could be used in a
group situation as I do not work well in a group. Van Gundy's also had a list of ten things that would
help me work better in a group.
There are also aspects that can damage or destroy a person's creativity. There are six factors that
when brought upon a person who is doing something creative, will undermine both the intrinsic
interest and creative potential of the project. The six factors are:
1.Expected Evaluation: If a person is expecting somebody to be evaluating their work they will
worry about criticisms the person might make. The pressure will cause a person's creativity to be
restricted.
2.Surveillance: Creativity would also be harmed if there is a person constantly peering over your
shoulder as you are trying to be creative.
3.Reward: Although the incentive of a reward might help someone, it might also harm creativity as
I believe a person would be trying to hard to do something they cant and also trying to make
something to perfect and never accepting the good work they have done.
4.Competition: If a person is in competition with another they might focus all their energy on the
competition rather than creativity of the project.
5.Restricted Choice: If people have boundaries in what they are

Descriptive Essay About My Mother
No matter how hard life gets for me and how chaotic things can become there has always been one
person that I can turn to, my mom. She's been a wealth of advice to call on when I'm clueless and
a shoulder to cry on when I'm down. Her compassion for others inspires me to be a better person
as does the guidance she has given me over the years. She's not afraid to give me a reality check
and to tell me the things I don't want to hear even though I need to. She keeps me grounded and
teaches me to appreciate the smaller things in life. Even though my dad was still involved in my life
after my parents split up it was my mother who I primarily lived with and it was her who had the
greatest influence on my life growing up. Anyone who has known my...show more content...
Heaven help you if you do anything to endanger her family. My mom also does not go soft on her
kids; she can be a formidable disciplinarian when she wants to and will not hesitate to set us
straight when we broke the rules. She won't let anybody walk over her and is really quick to anger
if you try. My mother is strong–willed and stubborn; when she sets her mind to something almost
nothing will stop her and what an impossible feat it is to change her mind on something. She is
very impatient; when she wants something done she wants it done at this very moment, no later.
She is idealistic and she enjoys the simpler things that life has to offer. She loves nature and would
love nothing more than to be living in a cabin in the mountains while listening to country music.
She does not pay much attention to news happening outside her local area and prefers to focus on
what's happening in her immediate area. From my mother I have learned how to be the person that
I am today. Through her I have learned the importance of family and that it is paramount to spend
time with them while I still have it. Even now I try to spend time with my family when I have the
opportunity to. Form her I have learned compassion for those around me and for animals. Even

Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits
Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I
should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady.
I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to
get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of
my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't
really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as
if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and
improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content...
I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to
trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also
taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is
shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try
as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than
psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying
that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the
article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of
psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents
differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations
on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret
them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different
approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality
makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited

Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend
About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of
school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had
no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your
name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch
so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was
like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly
we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand
new ones with her. She is amazing and I see perfection in her even though she disagrees i don't
care she is perfect in my eyes and i will always be there for her I don't care what happens between
us and i just wanna say thank you and i love you best friend! My Runaway! Hot air, windy breeze,
beating sun, blooming season and a nice boring day! The exotic yellow bus speeding through the
overpowering wind and it took a nice sharp stop. We got off the bus and that's when our
adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy
and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. This is how it all started. It was a very
casual afternoon throughout school. Nothing different from any other day, until we got on the bus.

Descriptive Essay About Sadness
Sadness. Some people will say they learned how to drive this summer, or they learned how to
waterski. But I learned what sadness is.
My mum and I spent two weeks with my grandfather and grandmother this summer. I knew my
grandfather's health was failing. I knew he wasn't doing well. But I had absolutely no conception
of how bad it was. He couldn't take ten steps without yelping in pain. He couldn't do much of
anything by himself. Those two weeks were spent helping my grandparents any way I possibly
could, carrying my grandfather 's walker places, and playing endless games of scrabble with him.
My grandfather is the best scrabble player I have ever met. Every time I had visited him, we had
played at least once a day and he would beat me...show more content...
My eyes were clouded over and I just kept hearing the words that the principal had said over and
over again. He had passed away. I didn't even know him well, but the idea that he could just be gone
terrified me. Now it was happening to my grandfather.
"How can someone just be gone?" I pleaded with my mum, but probably more with God than her.
"How can someone be here one day, and then gone the next?' Tears began to fill my eyes and
cloud my vision. "How is it that someone dies when their body fails them? How is it that one day
Grandad will be gone, and I won't be able to talk to him anymore, or call him, or play scrabble with
him? It's just not fair!"
I collapsed into tears while my mum pulled over. We just sat there for a while, both hugging each
other and crying our eyes out. There was so much sadness in me. It was like a black hole,
swallowing me up from the inside. It was an intense form of grief that I had never felt before. I
would cry and feel my whole body shaking, tears coming out of my eyes, but my soul also gasping
inside of me, trying to throw out that black hole, but instead getting consumed.
My mum's face streamed with tears. "I feel the same way," she whispered before falling into heart
wrenching sobs, the same sobs that had been haunting me for months, as she had been crying over
her dad's

Qualities that Define a Hard Working Person What qualifies a person to be categorized as a "hard
worker". He/She would have to be willing to do the work, and not only do it, but do it right.
Efficiency, things such as showing up on time, and getting the job done in a decent amount of
time. A person would have the knowledge to be able to do their work. Just as the cell is basic for
life, being efficient is the basic factor of all hard workers. This is extremely important, it ties in
with the other factors of the hard worker. Bosses look for people who are efficient, people who
get the job done the best and fastest way. Efficiency is not only better and faster but it is also
cheaper. I worked for a gentleman that always...show more content...
Does this person have the right skills to perform the job? An example I can think of is when I
worked for a rental company. When I turned 18 years old, my employers told me I had to get my
class E drivers license. Now this might not sound like a big deal but it was because if I did not
get it within five days of my 18th birthday I could not come back to work. The only way to get to
work again was to pass the test and bring a verified copy. This is a skill I had to obtain to work
this job. Other such skills required of me was that I had to know how to pull trailers behind
trucks, work on and with heavy machinery such as bucket lifts, tractors, lawn mowers, and other
such types of equipment. A knowledge base should not only contain the skills needed to do the
job but also some common sense. I say this meaning problem solving skills. For example if an
engine is not running this is how I would go about trying to make it run, my problem solving
method. Remembering what I had been told about engines needing three basic things,(fuel,
oxygen, and fire) first I would check the gas, this sounds very elementary, but it is amazing how
many people don't look at this. If this turns out not to be the problem, next I would check the oil.
Another of many simple things that people tend to over look. The third thing to check would
probably be the spark plug. Now granted these things are very simple but it is a good way of
showing problem solving methods. The

Who I Describe A Person Am I?
What type of person am I? Honestly that can be a difficult question to address. The person I am is
understanding and kind. However, it can be very difficult to always be that person. People are
constantly changing and adapting to the new situations they face. I have been through both
exuberant and tragic events and they have both shaped the person I am today but I am always
changing. I like to believe I am the kind of person anyone can go to if they need help.
To begin with, some of the most important people in my life, those who have gotten me to this
point, are my mother and my best friend Mary Barnett. My mother has always been at my side
since day one and she has never failed to help me through any tough situation. She taught me the
way the world works and encouraged me to chase my dreams. I owe my mother more than anyone
else. However, my best friend Mary Barnett has also been by my side for about 8 years now. She has
gotten me over the heartbreaks of losing friends to the death of my grandfather. No one can make
me feel as safe and secure as her. I owe her for teaching me to be kind to everyone even if no one is
kind to me. Both of these women have shaped my beliefs and the way I see the world.
Subsequently, there are many places, much like people, who have shaped the person I am. Theplace
I have spent the last 8 years was a unbelievably small town in Indiana. With a population nearly a
third of that of Cocoa Beach. One place that my best friend and I always went was this tiny park
directly in the center of town. The park was not much but we had so many late night talks and get to
know each other conversations at this park that it felt somehow important. Going to this tiny park
became impacting and I knew that every time we were supposed to meet, it would be at that park.
Places have a way of becoming important when you have more than one experience there. For me,
nothing is more important than that park.
Similarly, there are several events that have occurred in my life that made me into the person I am
today. Those events are huge moments in my life that either affected me in a negative or positive
way. Meeting my best friend was a huge event to me. I remember every detail on the day I met her

Describe Myself As A Student
Describe yourself as a student and also your aspirations for the future. Please include examples from
your personal academic and non–academic experiences.
A sophomore at Downtown Magnets High School, I demonstrate passion in my education, ambition
in fulfilling my personal and academic goals, and am an explorative student. My passion for learning
is the result of my mindset, in that aside from finding education a necessity, it is enjoyable,
challenging, and beneficial in fulfilling my future aspirations. For example, I find my Honors
Advanced Mathematics class my most unique course. It builds upon my ability to critically think,
present data or information, and understand higher–level math at a rapid pace. In particular, it is the
ability to solve real–world situations and the underlying mystery mathematicians have yet to solve
that intrigues me to continue learning. The class expects much of me, but I am aware that it is
preparing me for college– and university–level math while providing me with the skills to pursue a
career in Architectural/ Structural Engineering. Ambitious, I set objectives for myself and arrange to
accomplish and excel in the process. For instance, I participated in my middle school's academic
decathlon with a chance to represent my school in the mathematics single–subject exam. In doing so,
I attempted to score a near perfect to perfect score. While the competition did not end the way I
expected, I successfully gained a flawless score on the questions

Personal Characteristics Essay
There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his
professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal
characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more
and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for
professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in
many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to
pursue your goal? What are the sacrifices you can do to achieve your ambition? How much can
you think out of the box to resolve a particular issue or bring new idea to the table? How...show more

This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few
people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and
find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until
I get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and
fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my
ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has
changed in last few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become
the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one
is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the
nomenclature of day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times.
Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend
time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only
diversified my work experience but also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to
diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my
eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there

Descriptive Essay About A Hero
When talking about a hero, some people might think of a veteran, a fire fighter, or even
superman. The definition of the word "hero" varies between different people; however, my
definition of a hero is someone who is selfless, brave, and strong. Someone who doesn't runaway
when things get hard, who gives their all just for the wellbeing of others regardless of the strain it
puts on themselves. When thinking of the word "hero" the only person who comes to my mind
is my cousin Cassy. Cassy fits my own personal description of a hero; she is selfless, brave, and
strong. She doesn't run away when things get tough and most importantly, she looks out for
others no matter what the situation is. What is a hero to you? On September 24th of 2017, my
parents, along with my sister and I, walked into my grandma's house around three o'clock in the
afternoon. My aunt Patty had told us she had very important news for us to hear that evening. As
we sat down in the living room of my grandma's small condo, everybody looked at one another
awkwardly waiting for someone to speak first. My mom started the conversation by asking how
long my aunt was going to be in town. My aunt slightly teared up as she tried to spit out her
response. She began to tell us that she was actually moving back home to Fargo from the farm

Description Of My Physical Body
Describing my physical body, I have an oval head shape and I have fair skin complexion. My eyes
are small and bright. My lips are puffy and big, I have white teeth, which brings out my smile. My
siblings always make jokes about how big my nose is, but I honestly think that I have the cutest
noise on earth. My nose is wide and curved. My eyebrows are not thick, but I love them and they
make look different. This because I have a cut in between my left eyebrows and it makes me
different. The color of my hair is brown, the texture is kinky and it is long and thick. I am 5'11
and I weigh 195 pounds. I have broad shoulders and a full figured body. My favorite part about my
physical body is my smile. Smiling brings out my inner beauty and I love to smile a lot even
when I am down. I can never go a day without smiling. I know that I can always smile even though
I may be hurt inside. I smile through my pain, and I know that smiling can brighten up someone
else's day and that makes me feel good about myself. It is good to smile because it can help others
think about me in a positive way and not judge. It also draws people closer and they find it
comforting and warming. If I have a mean face all the time, people would not want to come around
me. One's body is what makes us who we are as a person. Self–image is not something a person is

What Makes A Person Beautiful?
There are many ways to define beauty, but I feel like society plays a huge role in how beauty is
portrayed to women. I believe that society focuses more on what a person looks like than what they
actually do for society. What makes someone beautiful is what they have on the inside and who they
are. Qualities that beautiful people have are: kindness, honesty, respect, confidence, generosity,
positivity, and willingness to help others when they are in need. Society diminishes this ideal by
telling people what is and what is not beautiful. What should make a person beautiful is how they
treat people, their poise, and how they give back to the community.
I feel as though what society puts in the media makes people feel undesirable; as though they are not
accepted in society for meeting the expectations society puts in the media. People such as
BeyoncГ©, or Michelle Obama are viewed as "beautiful" in the American society. Society thinks
women should be skinny, with a perfect smile, tall, long hair, with large assets. Society shouldn 't
only focus on how a person looks, but on the character of that person, and how they treat others
within their family or community. BeyoncГ© stated; "We all have our imperfections. But I 'm
human, and you know, it 's important to concentrate on other qualities besides outer beauty." I feel as
though what BeyoncГ© stated here is that there is so much more to a person than what they look
like. Their contributions, personality, and how they make people

Her family communicates to one another using spanish or sometimes english. I have always
grown up in a family that speaks only english so I find it interesting to go over to other people's

people has also opened my mind to new ideas. For example, in school when we work in group
projects we collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work
together to figure out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them.
Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic

gratitude because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a

competitors and break boards in order to continue to move up to the next level. Taekwondo also
helped keep me in good shape and fit when I was younger. Another Opportunity I am grateful for is
the skill of playing the piano. At first I was not all that enthusiastic about playing it but my parents
has signed me up and insisted I

Essay On Character Traits
There are many character traits that make someone successful in life. Some traits you are born with,
other traits are mindsets. There are a few character traits that coaches, teachers, bosses, or any other
significant figure looks for in particular. One of the most important character traits is a hard–working
attitude. You aren't born with a hard–working attitude. It is a mindset. You may not be the best
employee, but an employer will be more willing to work with someone that works hard than
someone that can do the job but is lazy. Although I am not the best at everything, I give 100%
effort in everything that I do and believe that working hard is the most important trait a person can
possess. As a child, the phrase, "Do your best," was...show more content...
I knew that in order to be starting, I needed to be the hardest worker on the team. With all my hard
work came a starting position. The biggest lesson that my father taught me was in seventh grade.
It was a normal day of basketball practice and we were scrimmaging. During a particular play, I
ran the wrong route. He made me run around the gym for forgetting what to do. I decided that I
was too tired to sprint around the gym. Because of my decision, he chose to kick me out of
practice. I knew at that point that I could take no breaks. While I was taking breaks, other people
were getting better. Chances to improve were very slim, so I needed to take advantage of them
whenever possible. Although this was a very inconvenient way for me to learn this lesson, he
definitely got his point across and I now work hard every chance that I get. Everyone wants to
have a successful career. The first step to a successful career is to obtain the job that you want.
Obviously you need the education level for this occupation, but what else is going to give you a leg
up on the competition? As a Sophomore in high school, I had the opportunity to job shadow a
manager of engineers at an engineering firm. One of his responsibilities was going through the
hiring process. As a prospective future employee, I was curious as to what he looked for most in
an employee. He did not say education. He did not say experience. He said that they needed a hard

What Makes A Person Unique?
Every human being is born unique. A human becomes unique when they find their own strengths and
capabilities. Being unique is what makes an individual different than others. So what makes a person
unique? Uniqueness can come in many different ways. People can be unique based on their talent,
personality, achievements, qualities, etc.
I feel that I'm different than other in many ways. I'm different because of my determination, work
ethic, stubbornness not to lose, my love for math and science, passion for building and fixing things,
someone who helps others, outgoing, jovial, assertive which makes me seek out and accept
challenges, not afraid to try things because it's an essential process that leads to success, hard
worker and a problem...show more content...
Science is expanding everyday. What fascinates me about science is the new discoveries and
knowledge it provides to this world. I use both of these subject in my life. For example, when I
play tennis I use Math for finding my percentages of shots or the probability of where my
opponent is going to hit the ball. I use Science to find out how fast I need to accelerate my racket
or how hard I need to hit the ball. Both of these subjects is something I have a passion for and
something I want to keep learning about. I know that my passion for learning about these subjects
will help me in my major here at the University.
Challenges and obstacles is something that everyone faces in their life. Those challenges might
have changed who we are or how we approached life. Being assertive is what makes me take on
those challenges I face. For example an obstacle I had to overcome was driving. When I first
learned how to drive it was very hard for me. My problem in driving was I didn't know how to
turn in the right way. It took me days and weeks but I still wasn't good at it. I would look up ways
on how to turn on the computer ,then one day it happened. I found a way to turn without any
struggles and that was the most satisfying thing for me to overcome. Another example is when I
played tennis at a very young age. I had a terrible record against this one player. He would beat me
all the time when we played. I couldn't find any ways to beat him. So I motivated and challenged

Sample Essay Describe A Person

  • 1. Personal Essay : My Personal Qualities My Personal Qualities Over the course, I have learned that all people are unique and have their own personal traits and qualities. One person does not just simply fall into one category, but various categories. What is beautiful about all of us is that we all have diverse personalities, traits and qualities. I have learned that we should be proud of and embrace these unique qualities of ours. As a perfectionist, I like to present my things beautifully and creatively, and it is clearly seen on my collage. I appreciate beautiful things and this is why I got beauty/aesthetics as one of my highest totals on the values survey. On my collage, I put a picture of a microscope, with the circular flask and test tubes. I also...show more content... I know and I have been told that I am a kind and sympathetic person, because I love to help people and put a smile on their faces. Even when someone is being rude, I try to "kill them with kindness" in return. I used the quote: "Beauty isn't about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul". I chose to use this quote because I adore it and I go by it. What matters most is in the inside, not on the outside. I think people sometimes, even me, get too caught up and try too hard to look beautiful, but they don't focus on personality. A) I expected to get artistic, creative and investigative as my results on surveys that I took, because I already knew I had these traits as a part of my personality. However, the results from mylearning styles survey were a little surprising to me. I got visual as my highest total score, while kinesthetic and auditory were almost balanced out scores. The reason why I was a little surprised was that last year, I took a survey to figure out my learning style, and I got both auditory and visual learner. The results have their little differences, but that shows people do change over time. Learning styles can be learned and strengthened. I learned plenty of things from my results. My values–which I didn't see clearly–are now clear, and I found out the little unique things that make up my personality. From my personality survey, I am mostly artistic, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. The three things that have made the biggest impact on and have influenced my life that shaped me into the person I am today are family background, experiences from my school year, and religious beliefs. Our culture provides a lens through which we view the world and interpret our everyday experiences. In order to know who I am today, I must look at who you've been. Many educators around the country are interested in developing a multicultural approach in their teaching. They find themselves in classrooms with 25 children of varying racial and cultural backgrounds, and are looking for ways to connect what they do in the classroom to the cultures represented by their students. Before we can begin to understand others, however, we need to understand ourselves and what we bring to our interactions with others. Every time we engage with our surroundings we create an experience both consciously and unconsciously. Our live experiences whether traumatic or joyful shape who we are over time. An experience that has defined the person I am today is my journey I went through as a child traveling back and forth from the United States to Mexico as an undocumented. If a child has an impact when moving into a new house and neighborhood imagine countries. I was brought to the United States when I was two years old. When you are a baby I guess is not that great of a deal you don 't remember much. However, when you start going to school and you are already half way through first grade, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. My Personal Identity Essay A person's identity is shaped by many different aspects. Family, culture, friends, personal interests and surrounding environments are all factors that tend to help shape a person's identity. Some factors may have more of an influence than others and some may not have any influence at all. As a person grows up in a family, they are influenced by many aspects of their life. Family and culture may influence a person's sense of responsibilities, ethics and morals, tastes in music, humor and sports, and many other aspects of life. Friends and surrounding environments may influence a person's taste in clothing, music, speech, and social activities. Personal interests are what truly set individuals apart. An individual is not a puppet...show more content... Society has had a limited impact on my lifestyle, mostly because I despise trends. The largest trends I despise are rap and hip–hop and the clothing, attitudes, and type of speech that that type of 'music' is breeding. I chose to steer away from that crowd, but it may also be because I live my life off of adrenaline. My high on life is the energy I have when I get my blood pumping, my heart pounding, and my adrenaline raging. Most aspects of my individuality reflect that very well. I love hard, aggressive music, and also guns, but my passion in life is extreme sports, whether it be on a dirt bike, a bmx bike, a snowmobile, or a snowboard. I have a strong set of morals and ethics that I have partly adopted from my parents, but some are also partly my own. My morals mostly consist of karma (being kind, caring, helpful, truthful, and considerate to others), not littering (especially in nature), respecting nature, keeping a clean and welcoming home, success that is measured with happiness and not possessions, and having strong family ties. I feel that I am very strongly rounded individual who is going to go far in life. Many people would agree with that, although some people just think that I am an absolutely crazy person who has a death wish and will not go anywhere but to the hospital or the morgue. Educational experiences also tend to influence a person's identity. I have not had too many educational Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Character, Morals, Integrity Essay Character, Morals, Integrity Morals, character, integrity, what do these words mean....actually, the question is, do you have them. A man named Dwight Moody once said, "Character is what you are in the dark." You cannot see your morals, character, or integrity, these are only shown as your values. Someone could only show their own values, which are very important to themselves and everyone else. Integrity is the firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values. The way you show your integrity, character, and morals or how they are effect you in either a negative or positive way. There are many causes to how your values are. So as you know, integrity is very important and it is important to have it. First of...show more content... Laura stated, "integrity effects you by either being honest or not. If you are honest, then you have integrity. People who say that they are going to do something do it." You can now see that character, morals, and integrity are very important. Secondly, people may think that their values may not affect them, but they're wrong, they affect them a lot. Since character describes how you are and what your moral strengths are, having bad character could make people dislike you because of how you are. On the other hand, if you have good character, then more people would see how good of a person you are and even more people would like you. Morals sort of describe the way you make decisions, so having bad morals could guide your life down the drain, while having good morals could guide your life minute by minute toward noble goals. Integrity is also very important. Having bad integrity could make you very non–trustworthy to others. Having good integrity would make you very trustworthy to others. Knowing how important they are, you should always have good or even better character, morals, and integrity. Also, there are many causes for how your character, morals, and integrity are. One cause could of course be yourself. By hanging out with the right people and making good decisions, you could have good values. Yet hanging out with the wrong people and making bad decisions would be having bad values. Another cause may Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. I Must Describe My Attitude And Behavior The way that I would describe my attitude and behavior when relating with people is alright in my opinion I believe that I do not come off as being rude, as being caring, and sincere. The way that I would describe myself in stressful situations is that I tend to panic right away instead of stopping and thinking what should I do to resolve this problem. Instead of panicking and stressing out right away maybe I should ask the other person what I should do or what they would do. Non– Verbal Behavior : I would describe the messages that my nonverbal behavior send is that I act very approachable to others, people always tell me that I am always happy and smiling, and that whenever people see me I am always smiling. Listening skills: The way that I would describe myself when listening to others is first I let them speak to get their whole point across. I sometimes interrupt, and I also ask questions, as well as pay close attention to what the person is saying but I also tend to dose off somewhere else, and I do get easily distracted by noises, or other conversations. I sometimes tend to connect to my own experiences but, often take the focus off the other person and go on and on. I would describe myself as being warm to people, but young people my age find me less approachable, because of my lack of confidence. But older people children find me very approachable, kind, and warm that is because I am more confident with that age group. Some people have told me that my face Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Creative people have many attributes such as openness to new experiences, observance, curiosity, personal freedom, a willingness to take risks, self reliance, persistence and the freedom from fear of failure. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivations are the two most commonly used methods of creative motivation. It would also be good for me to develop skills that could be used in a group situation as I do not work well in a group. Van Gundy's also had a list of ten things that would help me work better in a group. There are also aspects that can damage or destroy a person's creativity. There are six factors that when brought upon a person who is doing something creative, will undermine both the intrinsic interest and creative potential of the project. The six factors are: 1.Expected Evaluation: If a person is expecting somebody to be evaluating their work they will worry about criticisms the person might make. The pressure will cause a person's creativity to be restricted. 2.Surveillance: Creativity would also be harmed if there is a person constantly peering over your shoulder as you are trying to be creative. 3.Reward: Although the incentive of a reward might help someone, it might also harm creativity as I believe a person would be trying to hard to do something they cant and also trying to make something to perfect and never accepting the good work they have done. 4.Competition: If a person is in competition with another they might focus all their energy on the competition rather than creativity of the project. 5.Restricted Choice: If people have boundaries in what they are Get more content on HelpWriting.net

She's been a wealth of advice to call on when I'm clueless and a shoulder to cry on when I'm down. Her compassion for others inspires me to be a better person as does the guidance she has given me over the years. She's not afraid to give me a reality check and to tell me the things I don't want to hear even though I need to. She keeps me grounded and teaches me to appreciate the smaller things in life. My mom also does not go soft on her kids; she can be a formidable disciplinarian when she wants to and will not hesitate to set us straight when we broke the rules. She won't let anybody walk over her and is really quick to anger if you try. My mother is strong–willed and stubborn; when she sets her mind to something almost nothing will stop her and what an impossible feat it is to change her mind on something. She is very impatient; when she wants something done she wants it done at this very moment, no later. She is idealistic and she enjoys the simpler things that life has to offer. She loves nature and would love nothing more than to be living in a cabin in the mountains while listening to country music. She does not pay much attention to news happening outside her local area and prefers to focus on what's happening in her immediate area. From my mother I have learned how to be the person that I am today. Through her I have learned the importance of family and that it is paramount to spend time with them while I still have it. Even now I try to spend time with my family when I have the opportunity to. Form her I have learned compassion for those around me and for animals. Even Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Essay on Me Myself and Personality Traits Me Myself and Personality Traits When asked to describe myself I never know what to say, but I should know myself the best, right? I like to look at myself as a genuine, thoughtful young lady. I'm a hard worker; I believe nothing is ever handed to you so you have to go get it. I worked hard to get to this point of my life and working even harder to get to the successful and graduate part of my life. I care more for some others than I do myself but I have a huge nonchalant attitude. I don't really show anger or sadness much I always smile because I'm optimistic about life. I look at life as if something bad comes along, no need to dwell on it you can't take it back so just move–on and improve what you did wrong if it's possible....show more content... I was taught to be caring and thoughtful; I wasn't taught anything else from anyone other than not to trust people. I'm the odd ball of my family because I am nothing like anyone. I can say I was also taught to believe in myself and never down myself because I can accomplish anything. That is shown through my determination and hard work because if I didn't believe in myself I wouldn't try as hard. Last but not all, Humanistic approach sums up my personality a little more than psychodynamic does because it involves nature vs. nurture and that kind of sums it up just saying that. Environment and Heredity is kind of the main reasons of my attitudes and actions. In the article, Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Briggs conducts different forms of psychotherapy techniques to prove whether things in an adolescent's life effect different adolescents differently. His study was a success and proved that many adolescents have different interpretations on the same issue. He read them off different problems and wanted to see how they would interpret them. He used children in the age groups of 12–17 and it worked out. I think that the different approaches can be brought together in some circumstances but in my case it doesn't. My personality makes more sense coming from the humanistic approach. Briggs, Stephen (2010). Time–Limited Psychodynamic Psychotherapy for Adolescents and Young Adults. • 9. Descriptive Essay About My Best Friend About Me! By: Jonna S. My Best friend My best friend is amazing! Ever since the first day of school she's been there. Basically what happened was on the first day I was at silver hills and had no idea who anyone was so i just sat at a table and she was like, "Hi I'm Daphnie what's your name?," of course i said Jonna cause that's my name. Eventually we ran into each other at lunch so we sat down and talked for awhile to each other and then we walked to my next class and I was like wow you wanna be friends. She said of course cause i mean come on i'm amazing! Honestly we had a lot of good memories together from the 6th grade and i'm very excited to create brand new ones with her. We got off the bus and that's when our adventurous day started. But really, what we thought was a fun day, others thought we were crazy and scared for us! For example, both of our entire households. • 10. Descriptive Essay About Sadness Sadness. Some people will say they learned how to drive this summer, or they learned how to waterski. But I learned what sadness is. My mum and I spent two weeks with my grandfather and grandmother this summer. I knew my grandfather's health was failing. I knew he wasn't doing well. But I had absolutely no conception of how bad it was. He couldn't take ten steps without yelping in pain. He couldn't do much of anything by himself. Those two weeks were spent helping my grandparents any way I possibly could, carrying my grandfather 's walker places, and playing endless games of scrabble with him. My grandfather is the best scrabble player I have ever met. Every time I had visited him, we had played at least once a day and he would beat me...show more content... My eyes were clouded over and I just kept hearing the words that the principal had said over and over again. He had passed away. I didn't even know him well, but the idea that he could just be gone terrified me. Now it was happening to my grandfather. "How can someone just be gone?" I pleaded with my mum, but probably more with God than her. "How can someone be here one day, and then gone the next?' Tears began to fill my eyes and cloud my vision. "How is it that someone dies when their body fails them? How is it that one day Grandad will be gone, and I won't be able to talk to him anymore, or call him, or play scrabble with him? It's just not fair!" I collapsed into tears while my mum pulled over. We just sat there for a while, both hugging each other and crying our eyes out. There was so much sadness in me. It was like a black hole, swallowing me up from the inside. It was an intense form of grief that I had never felt before. I would cry and feel my whole body shaking, tears coming out of my eyes, but my soul also gasping inside of me, trying to throw out that black hole, but instead getting consumed. My mum's face streamed with tears. "I feel the same way," she whispered before falling into heart wrenching sobs, the same sobs that had been haunting me for months, as she had been crying over her dad's Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Qualities that Define a Hard Working Person What qualifies a person to be categorized as a "hard worker". He/She would have to be willing to do the work, and not only do it, but do it right. Efficiency, things such as showing up on time, and getting the job done in a decent amount of time. A person would have the knowledge to be able to do their work. Just as the cell is basic for life, being efficient is the basic factor of all hard workers. This is extremely important, it ties in with the other factors of the hard worker. Bosses look for people who are efficient, people who get the job done the best and fastest way. Efficiency is not only better and faster but it is also cheaper. I worked for a gentleman that always...show more content... Does this person have the right skills to perform the job? An example I can think of is when I worked for a rental company. When I turned 18 years old, my employers told me I had to get my class E drivers license. Now this might not sound like a big deal but it was because if I did not get it within five days of my 18th birthday I could not come back to work. The only way to get to work again was to pass the test and bring a verified copy. This is a skill I had to obtain to work this job. Other such skills required of me was that I had to know how to pull trailers behind trucks, work on and with heavy machinery such as bucket lifts, tractors, lawn mowers, and other such types of equipment. A knowledge base should not only contain the skills needed to do the job but also some common sense. I say this meaning problem solving skills. For example if an engine is not running this is how I would go about trying to make it run, my problem solving method. Remembering what I had been told about engines needing three basic things,(fuel, oxygen, and fire) first I would check the gas, this sounds very elementary, but it is amazing how many people don't look at this. If this turns out not to be the problem, next I would check the oil. Another of many simple things that people tend to over look. The third thing to check would probably be the spark plug. Now granted these things are very simple but it is a good way of showing problem solving methods. The Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Who I Describe A Person Am I? What type of person am I? Honestly that can be a difficult question to address. The person I am is understanding and kind. However, it can be very difficult to always be that person. People are constantly changing and adapting to the new situations they face. I have been through both exuberant and tragic events and they have both shaped the person I am today but I am always changing. I like to believe I am the kind of person anyone can go to if they need help. To begin with, some of the most important people in my life, those who have gotten me to this point, are my mother and my best friend Mary Barnett. My mother has always been at my side since day one and she has never failed to help me through any tough situation. She taught me the way the world works and encouraged me to chase my dreams. I owe my mother more than anyone else. However, my best friend Mary Barnett has also been by my side for about 8 years now. She has gotten me over the heartbreaks of losing friends to the death of my grandfather. No one can make me feel as safe and secure as her. I owe her for teaching me to be kind to everyone even if no one is kind to me. Both of these women have shaped my beliefs and the way I see the world. Subsequently, there are many places, much like people, who have shaped the person I am. Theplace I have spent the last 8 years was a unbelievably small town in Indiana. With a population nearly a third of that of Cocoa Beach. One place that my best friend and I always went was this tiny park directly in the center of town. The park was not much but we had so many late night talks and get to know each other conversations at this park that it felt somehow important. Going to this tiny park became impacting and I knew that every time we were supposed to meet, it would be at that park. Places have a way of becoming important when you have more than one experience there. For me, nothing is more important than that park. Similarly, there are several events that have occurred in my life that made me into the person I am today. Those events are huge moments in my life that either affected me in a negative or positive way. Meeting my best friend was a huge event to me. I remember every detail on the day I met her and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Describe Myself As A Student Describe yourself as a student and also your aspirations for the future. Please include examples from your personal academic and non–academic experiences. A sophomore at Downtown Magnets High School, I demonstrate passion in my education, ambition in fulfilling my personal and academic goals, and am an explorative student. My passion for learning is the result of my mindset, in that aside from finding education a necessity, it is enjoyable, challenging, and beneficial in fulfilling my future aspirations. For example, I find my Honors Advanced Mathematics class my most unique course. It builds upon my ability to critically think, present data or information, and understand higher–level math at a rapid pace. In particular, it is the ability to solve real–world situations and the underlying mystery mathematicians have yet to solve that intrigues me to continue learning. The class expects much of me, but I am aware that it is preparing me for college– and university–level math while providing me with the skills to pursue a career in Architectural/ Structural Engineering. Ambitious, I set objectives for myself and arrange to accomplish and excel in the process. For instance, I participated in my middle school's academic decathlon with a chance to represent my school in the mathematics single–subject exam. In doing so, I attempted to score a near perfect to perfect score. While the competition did not end the way I expected, I successfully gained a flawless score on the questions Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Personal Characteristics Essay There are many personal characteristics that can affect a person as an individual and his professional success, namely openness, ability to learn and adapt etc. These personal characteristics can sometimes make a person successful and sometimes doesn't. As I spend more and more time as a professional, I perceive that there are few characteristics that are essential for professional success: namely ambitious, creative and adaptable. These characteristics come out in many different ways. Have you set your goals? Have you decided the path you have to take to pursue your goal? This characteristic will motivate me to grow better in my future career as well. I believe that few people have a strong inner feeling that pushes them to think out of the box to identify as issue and find the solution. Personally, I always try to find the most creative solution and do not give up until I get it. Sometime this energy is contagious on to next. I always search for the missing links and fine–tune my thoughts until I reach a point that works. This creativity has steadily driven my ambitions through the organization. Today the world is changing so rapidly and the way it has changed in last few decades, it hasn't changed in last few hundred years. So adaptability has become the need of the hour. I believe that adaptability is the most important quality of all, particularly if one is in technology industry. There have been times when this adaptability has changed the nomenclature of day and night but it has also given me rewards at the appropriate times. Adaptability, personally, has created a far–reaching international outlook and I was able to spend time, living outside my country of origin, working for UK retails giants and this stay not only diversified my work experience but also my cultural experience. It has improved my exposure to diverse situations with increasing levels of complexity and this exposure has increased my eagerness for new challenges. It has instigated a feeling in me that there Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Descriptive Essay About A Hero When talking about a hero, some people might think of a veteran, a fire fighter, or even superman. The definition of the word "hero" varies between different people; however, my definition of a hero is someone who is selfless, brave, and strong. Someone who doesn't runaway when things get hard, who gives their all just for the wellbeing of others regardless of the strain it puts on themselves. When thinking of the word "hero" the only person who comes to my mind is my cousin Cassy. Cassy fits my own personal description of a hero; she is selfless, brave, and strong. She doesn't run away when things get tough and most importantly, she looks out for others no matter what the situation is. What is a hero to you? On September 24th of 2017, my parents, along with my sister and I, walked into my grandma's house around three o'clock in the afternoon. My aunt Patty had told us she had very important news for us to hear that evening. As we sat down in the living room of my grandma's small condo, everybody looked at one another awkwardly waiting for someone to speak first. My mom started the conversation by asking how long my aunt was going to be in town. My aunt slightly teared up as she tried to spit out her response. She began to tell us that she was actually moving back home to Fargo from the farm place her and her boyfriend lived at near Devils Lake. My aunt started to stutter after a while and then finally blurted out the sentence that nobody ever wants to hear come from a loved Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Description Of My Physical Body Describing my physical body, I have an oval head shape and I have fair skin complexion. My eyes are small and bright. My lips are puffy and big, I have white teeth, which brings out my smile. My siblings always make jokes about how big my nose is, but I honestly think that I have the cutest noise on earth. My nose is wide and curved. My eyebrows are not thick, but I love them and they make look different. This because I have a cut in between my left eyebrows and it makes me different. The color of my hair is brown, the texture is kinky and it is long and thick. I am 5'11 and I weigh 195 pounds. I have broad shoulders and a full figured body. My favorite part about my physical body is my smile. Smiling brings out my inner beauty and I love to smile a lot even when I am down. I can never go a day without smiling. I know that I can always smile even though I may be hurt inside. I smile through my pain, and I know that smiling can brighten up someone else's day and that makes me feel good about myself. It is good to smile because it can help others think about me in a positive way and not judge. It also draws people closer and they find it comforting and warming. If I have a mean face all the time, people would not want to come around me. One's body is what makes us who we are as a person. Self–image is not something a person is born with. In my opinion, self–image is built over a long period of experience and cultural background. Everyone is unique in his or her Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. What Makes A Person Beautiful? There are many ways to define beauty, but I feel like society plays a huge role in how beauty is portrayed to women. I believe that society focuses more on what a person looks like than what they actually do for society. What makes someone beautiful is what they have on the inside and who they are. Qualities that beautiful people have are: kindness, honesty, respect, confidence, generosity, positivity, and willingness to help others when they are in need. Society diminishes this ideal by telling people what is and what is not beautiful. What should make a person beautiful is how they treat people, their poise, and how they give back to the community. I feel as though what society puts in the media makes people feel undesirable; as though they are not accepted in society for meeting the expectations society puts in the media. People such as BeyoncГ©, or Michelle Obama are viewed as "beautiful" in the American society. Society thinks women should be skinny, with a perfect smile, tall, long hair, with large assets. Society shouldn 't only focus on how a person looks, but on the character of that person, and how they treat others within their family or community. BeyoncГ© stated; "We all have our imperfections. But I 'm human, and you know, it 's important to concentrate on other qualities besides outer beauty." I feel as though what BeyoncГ© stated here is that there is so much more to a person than what they look like. Their contributions, personality, and how they make people Get more content on HelpWriting.net

For example, in school when we work in group projects we collaborate and communicate with people who think differently than us then work together to figure out whose ideas will work the best and how to improve them. Another factor that plays a part in why I am shaped how I am is my family's economic circumstances. I have always had access to anything I needed and for that I have extreme gratitude because I know some people have a lot of difficulty in life. Since I was born into a family with such good economic circumstances I have been lucky to have lots of opportunities. One Opportunity I had as a child was participating in taekwondo. I did taekwondo until I reached a blackbelt which took years of hardwork and dedication. I had to memorize forms, Spar with other competitors and break boards in order to continue to move up to the next level. Taekwondo also helped keep me in good shape and fit when I was younger. Another Opportunity I am grateful for is the skill of playing the piano. • 19. Essay On Character Traits There are many character traits that make someone successful in life. Some traits you are born with, other traits are mindsets. There are a few character traits that coaches, teachers, bosses, or any other significant figure looks for in particular. One of the most important character traits is a hard–working attitude. You aren't born with a hard–working attitude. It is a mindset. You may not be the best employee, but an employer will be more willing to work with someone that works hard than someone that can do the job but is lazy. The biggest lesson that my father taught me was in seventh grade. It was a normal day of basketball practice and we were scrimmaging. During a particular play, I ran the wrong route. He made me run around the gym for forgetting what to do. I decided that I was too tired to sprint around the gym. Because of my decision, he chose to kick me out of practice. I knew at that point that I could take no breaks. While I was taking breaks, other people were getting better. Chances to improve were very slim, so I needed to take advantage of them whenever possible. Although this was a very inconvenient way for me to learn this lesson, he definitely got his point across and I now work hard every chance that I get. Everyone wants to have a successful career. The first step to a successful career is to obtain the job that you want. Obviously you need the education level for this occupation, but what else is going to give you a leg up on the competition? When I first learned how to drive it was very hard for me. My problem in driving was I didn't know how to turn in the right way. It took me days and weeks but I still wasn't good at it. I would look up ways on how to turn on the computer ,then one day it happened. I found a way to turn without any struggles and that was the most satisfying thing for me to overcome.
