Therefore, I am proud to announce that we have made
solid progress towards our social responsibility goals this year.
The activities of the People’s Bank and the People’s Fund
cover such issues as employment, difficulties in rural regions,
the sphere of education, interaction and collaboration with
state entities, promotion of development of the sphere of
healthcare, culture and sports, and provision of assistance to
socially vulnerable population.
The People’s Fund is replenished by a percentage of the
daily proceeds of the operations of the bank and these funds
are channeled to cover the needs of the socially vulnerable
layer of population. Apart from provision of social assistance
the concept of the People’s Fund envisages funding of projects,
submitted by socially vulnerable representatives of population
on grant basis. In such manner the People’s Bank and the
People’s Fund are assisting individuals and their families to
start business for improvement of their livelihood and thus
