Nasser Kazeminy has served as founding co-chairman of the Nowruz Commission for the last five years, which supports charitable initiatives worldwide for those celebrating the Persian New Year Nowruz. Through partnerships with nonprofits like Gift of Life International, the Commission provides education, healthcare, and clean water to people in need. In recent years, the Nowruz Commission has donated to Gift of Life International to fund heart surgeries for Middle Eastern children, supporting operations for 10 children in 2012, 11 children in 2014, and training Afghan surgeons to continue helping local children.

2. Introduction
 Throughout his career as an entrepreneur and investment
executive, Nasser Kazeminy has maintained a strong
dedication to philanthropic efforts across the globe. A
supporter of more than 100 charities, Nasser Kazeminy has
served as founding co-chairman of the Nowruz
Commission for the last five years.
The Nowruz Commission serves those across the world
who celebrate the Persian New Year Nowruz. By
participating in worldwide charitable initiatives through
partnerships with a number of nonprofit organizations,
such as the children’s healthcare association Gift of Life
International, the Commission provides education,
healthcare, and clean water to those in need.

3. Nowruz Commission
 In recent years, the Nowruz Commission has donated
to Gift of Life International to support Middle Eastern
children afflicted with heart conditions. The
Commission's contributions provided funding for
open-heart surgery for 10 children in 2012 and 11
children in 2014. In the last year, the Commission’s
support also helped train a number of Afghan
surgeons, enabling them to continue saving the lives of
local children.
