G O. (P) No. 38/2012lG E&. Dated, Thiruvanenthapuram, 7th February, 2012.
S. R O. No. 102/2012.-[n exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1)
of rule 3 in Chapter VI of the Kerala Education Ruies, 1959, and all other powers
vested in the Government in thi3 regard, the Government of Kerala hereby make
the following amendment, to the notification issued as G. O. (P) No. 215l091G Edn.
dated 6th November, 2009 and published as S. R. O. No. 953/09 in the Kerala
Gazeue Extraordiriary No. 2093 dated l6th November, 2009. namely:-

In the schedule to the said notification, in serial number (l), for the
entries in Column No. (2) against the categories of pupil in Column No. (1),
the following entries shall be substituted, namely:-
"Th'e Headmaster of the school in vvhich rhe pupil is studying".

Explanetory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its
, general purport.)
As per notification issued as G- O. 1P) No. 215,t20}glG. Edn. dated 6ih
November, 2009 and published as S. R. O. No. 95312009 in the Kerala Gazette
Extraordinary No. 2093 dated 16th Novernber, 2009, Government authorized (l)
Assistant Educational Officer/District Educational Officer havipg jurisdiction
over the school in which the pupil is studying for making alteration in the name,
religion and date of birth fbr prrpils studying in schools from Standards I to X.
Now as part of effecting implementarion oi 'sampoorna' Project at
schools, Government intends to delegate the above said power for altering
the name, religion and date of birth of pupils in the Admission register to the
Headmaster of the school in which the pupil is stutiying.
This notification is intended to achieve the above purpose.
