2. My dream was to
always do Plastic
surgery as I was
really unhappy
with my nose and
after much thought
I decided to do
Osteotomy which
is the narrowing of
the nasal bone.

3. My surgery went very
smoothly though I was
well aware of what was
going on around me. All
together it lasted three
whole hours. I was
given a week’s
medication for my pain,
surgical masks, paper
instructions, surgical
tissue, ointment for
cleaning nose and 4
cold/hot packs for my
eyes. I was also
advised to lay flat on my
back when I sleep, as
sleeping on my sides
could harm the silicones
and keep the head tilted
upwards from the rest

4. The swelling of my
face started
gradually. The first
day after surgery,
the areas around
my eyes were
most affected.
Next followed the
top half of my face
all together. I went
to visit my
physician for
cleansing and de-
swelling
treatments.

5. Walking helped me like magic. On the
third and fourth day the swelling moved
to lower part of my face. I walked
extensively and saw the changes little
by little but still my face looked huge.

6. I finally removed all the bandages from
my nose on day five and to my surprise
my nose looked unbelievably big to me.
Six days later I was overwhelmed to see
the new me.

7. A month later I have no complaints
about my surgery. There is no pain
and I am not at all uncomfortable but
still I am a bit cautious with my new
nose.

8. Four months after my operation, minor
scars around my nose are still visible
but overall it was a great journey and I
was happy with myself.
