Thesis work for M.Tech
Crime Mapping and Hotspot Identification using GIS
The study work on crime mapping has been carried out in Guntur district of Andhra
Pradesh, a GIS database has been created for different types of crimes. Hotspot analysis has
been carried out using Crime Stat package in conjunction with standard GIS packages to
identify the high crime regions both spatially and temporally.
