2. Once upon a time there was a happy little boy
called Charlie. Charlie was blonde with curly hair
and blue eyes. He was very, very sweet.
3. One day Charlie went with his mother
to buy a new jacket. The jacket was red
with a big green button. He absolutely loved it!
4. Next day, after school,
Charlie went to play football with his friends:
Johnny the Mouse, Paquito the Cat, Glenda the Hen,
Tilly the Owl and the mice twins Milly and Vanilly.
5. Unfortunately, while Charlie was playing football, he lost the
big green button. He was very upset and immidiatly he asked
to Tilly the Owl (who was on top of a tree) to have a look
around. Tilly the Owl did not see it. Afterwards, Charlie also
asked to his other friends to help him to find the big green
button. But nobody could find it. It was getting late and
Charlie decided to go back home. He felt so sad.
6. His friends, who were very sorry for little Charlie, spent all
night seeking for the button in the grass where they all had
been playing football that afternoon. But although the night
was starry and full moon they couldn’t find the green big
button, but all kind of other beautiful coloury buttons! So at
the end, they decided to sew all the coloury buttons on
Charlie’s new jacket.
7. Next day, Charlie’s friends went to his house
to give him the new jacket. He was so pleased
and felt so happy to have such good friends.
8. Charlie’s mum baked a delicious chocolate cake
to thank his friends and also to celebrate
Charlie’s luck.
9. When little Charlie went to bed,
he found the big green button in one of the pockets
of the coloury buttoned jacket.
