2. What is Neurogenic orthostatic hypotension you might ask?
Neurogenic orthostatic hypotension (NOH) is a very rare
syndrome where low blood pressure occurs upon standing. This
type of disorder usually occurs due to malfunction of the
autonomic nervous system (ANS) which is in charge of
involuntary body activities such as keeping the blood pressure
normal.

3. It is a part of orthostatic hypotension (OH). Like NOH there are other
sub -types of orthostatic hypotension too where patients experience
similar symptoms for different reasons.
NOH occurs only in people having a neurological disease such as
Multiple system atrophy (MSA), Pure autonomic failure (PAF), Diabetic
neuropathy, Dopamine beta hydroxylase (DBH)
deficiency and Parkinson’s disease.
