 Undergraduate: Florida International University in
Music Performance-Violin
 Working now on my Master’s Degree in Music
Education-University of Florida
My goal in this class is to learn more about how
to use the internet more effectively with my
students and in the classroom. Also, I always like
to learn from other teachers’ experiences in
classes like this.

 I have taught at this school for 4 years
 I teach String Orchestra and Guitar Ensemble
 This school has been my only experience in public
schools and I love it so far.
 My Future goal is to develop a string program in my region that
could serve as an example for other schools in the area since
there’re many Band and General Music programs in the area but
very little about strings.

 My previous experience with the Internet and
technology in general is that I work with different
types of music software.
 I compose and arrange music with these programs
from which my students and I benefit during the
year.
 Also, I took several other online courses as an
undergrad student; therefore, I feel comfortable with
this type of setting.

 Hobbies: reading as I listen to classical music, and
walking with my husband on the weekends.
 I like to be with my family; therefore, we gather
together every Saturday to chat and eat for a long
time at night.
 I am from Cuba and I live in the states for over 10
years now.
 I married 3 years ago and still don’t have any kids.
 I have a lovely littler dog named Mozart.
