Christmas is the annual festival celebrating the birth of Jesus on the 25th December, at least that is
what it began as initially. Since it has expanded into an international phenomenon for consumption,

Everybody loves Christmas. The suspense of not knowing what is under the wrapping paper drives
us absolutely wild. The joy of spending time with family, friends, and your significant other is the

My Worst Day
I never imagined that my horrible day at work would turn into such an amazing night. I was pretty
upset that I was not going to be able to spend Christmas with my boyfriend of two years Tate and

After a lot of preparation and practice, I will no longer need the script, and I will be able to approach
the solicitation with confidence.
To enhance my confidence even further, having a relationship with the potential benefactor would
be ideal. At this stage in the relationship, most of my shyness will no longer be evident, as I would
know the potential benefactor very well. After gaining an adequate level of confidence and comfort
to be able to successfully solicit the major gift I would arrange a meeting with the potential
benefactor.
In setting up the meeting, I would be sure to express that the purpose of the meeting is for us to,

Do you ever have an experience that destroys something that you had cherished for so long? There
have been lots of times in my life that I have been confronted with situations that changed the way I
viewed myself and others, there is one distinct time that I remember abruptly changing my
viewpoint, and finally learning some very important messages. On the particular day, my birthday, I
had one of the most confusing, irritating, frustrating, eye–opening days of my life. A day I will
remember for as long as I live. Birthdays were an event that I had been associated with excitement
and anticipation in the years prior to my 7th birthday, after that, they were ruined forever.
On this special day, I woke up to breakfast in bed, a family tradition. My mom had asked me earlier
that week what I wanted for my birthday breakfast and I had responded with the same breakfast that
everyone in my family asks for, cinnamon rolls. Skip ahead to the next morning, having just woken
up, being presented with a plate of pancakes... What? I was confused. I thought, There must be some
mistake. I looked around hoping to see another plate with warm gooey rolls of dough smothered in
sugar placed on it. To my dismay, there was not.
