Crossline Ladera Ranch is a community-based outreach of Crossline Community Church in Laguna
What is Crossline Ladera Ranch?

Over 80% of Ladera residents do not regularly attend a church. Ladera Ranch is a planned
community of 23,000 people developed in the beginning of 2000 with a focus on a small town feel.
Why Crossline Ladera? The economic downturn has created loss, fear and many are searching for meaning to the their lives.
Currently, approximately 70% of homes sales in Ladera are distressed properties. There is great need
for people to come to faith in Jesus Christ ~ a great need for His LOVE and JOY to fill our city.
God’s church is the body of believers, with Jesus at the Head. Until God provides the building, we

Community groups are essential to the mission of Crossline Ladera. (Acts 2:42-47) They are groups of
people who: live life together, study Scripture, worship, care for one another, serve together and spur
What are Community Groups all about? each other on toward love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:24) It’s not an event, it’s a lifestyle. It’s about
living life together for the purpose of spiritual growth and discipleship. We want to see everyone living
out their faith in a community group. It’s the vehicle for connection and outreach into Ladera.
In addition to the community groups, Crossline Ladera will host a Satellite campus of Crossline

a core team of servant leaders and reaching the fundraising goals.
Training will be designed to ensure community group leaders are prepared to make their groups truly

group leaders receive? leadership development. Topics such as bible study, prayer, service, hospitality, outreach, and care will
be explored. Additionally, ongoing monthly leadership development will also be scheduled.
Community groups will meet once per week (3 weeks total) for approximately 1.5 hrs.
Outreach and service projects are approximately once per month. Social events will vary.
How much time will this require? For some with full schedules, it may require re-prioritizing, adjusting or eliminating non-priority
events. It’s about time spent collectively, seeking and experiencing God for the sake of the gospel. It’s
about advancing His Kingdom in Ladera, in our day to day lives.
