9. There were three little pigs who left home to build their first
homes. Before they left their mother told them, “Whatever you
do, do it right the first time.” The first pig built his house of
straw, the second pig built his of sticks and the third pig built
his of bricks. One night the big bad wolf came out looking for
his dinner. He went to the house of straw and blew it down
and ate the pig. He went to the house of straw and ate the
second pig as well. The big bad wolf finally went to the house
of brick and blew as hard as he could, but he couldn’t blow the
house down. He tried going down the chimney but the third pig
was smart and put a hot kettle of water below the chimney.
When the wolf slid down the chimney his rear end was quickly
on fire. The big bad wolf ran away and never came back
again. The third pig lived happily ever after.
10. With a deeper look into the story of “The Three
Little Pigs” the reader will notice the significance of
the story. “The Three Little Pigs”, teaches young
children that hard work and patience leads to
success. As you see in the story, the third pig was
patient and wise while building his brick house.
The two other pigs were in a hurry and felt the
need for instant gratification. They both had a poor
work ethic, which resulted in them both having
their homes blown down and being eaten by the
big bad wolf. The third pig was wise, patient and
had a good work ethic, therefore benefiting him in
the long run.
