This presentation was to inform the necessary government entities of the lack of support to the Chicagoland area during The Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) was an initiative. HARP was put forward during the Obama administration, that offered a number of options designed to help homeowners, depending on their individual circumstances. My job, as a consultant, was to assess the programs progress with the banking partners and report back progress to the state representative at the time.

- Refax dilemma: The original fax numbers from the lenders given to us where invalid and when NHS started the follow up process, we found out from the frontline staff of the lenders that Authorization forms needed to be faxed to one number and all supporting documentation for the Borrowers application should be faxed to another number. No Contact Information: There where numerous servicers with contact information that was either a wrong number or information that was meant to be sent to an automated system to prolong the process of the application.
