Identification of Organization
Albright & Associates Inc. is a full-service company dedicated
to assisting every person, firm, or business who have issues or
problems with gas air compressors and screw compressors. This
is a family owned and operated business which was
incorporated in Odessa, TX and was established in 1976. It has
a single location business that provides services and repairs of
air and gas compressors through a drive on numerous cities like
San Antonio, Midland, New Mexico, and Odessa TX. Only high-
quality compressors are the ones that they offer to every
customer for reasons that air compressor are one of the things
people depend on when it comes to their business. For Albright
& Associates Inc., this is the number one factor that every
person, firm, or business often overlooked.
The decades of operational service, sales, and repair business
means that they are able to give the most innovation and value
for a number of money customers will spend. They also became
a recognized company for being the number one source of
professional services offering rentals, repairs, and sales of all
the leading brand of gas and air compressors. The extensive
expertise and knowledge of their employees when it comes to
repairing job or overhaul is one of their company’s edge against
another competitor. This is the reason why they gain the trust of
their customers due to the fact that they are always available to
help people with all their needs when it comes to Air
Compressors – the most disregarded investments for every
business yet an important equipment to run a business.
Reasons for Choosing the Organization
Allbright & Associates Inc. offer lots of services, particularly
sales, repairs, and rents brands of air compressor. This
organization is a crucial place of business in order to update and
develop the safety program. It is not easy to decide as to which
type of organization to use when starting a business. In doing
this, having knowledge on all aspect of business should be
considered, especially in the financial aspect. The top hazards
for the air compressor industry as stated by Integrated
Publishing is noise while running the machine or draining
valves, compressed air can cause minute particles to be blown at
high speed, sharp objects could cause cuts. This is why I choose
to create a bloodborne pathogens safety program. While wearing
hearing protection and other PPE requirements will help
eliminate the noise and flying particles, what should happen if
an employee is cut by an object while opening valve or particle
coming out fast cuts their hand?
Bloodborne pathogens are said to be the infectious
microorganisms in human blood which can cause humans to
have diseases such as hepatitis and Human immunodeficiency
virus (HIV). The organization is in the process of updating all
the safety programs that could focus on employee involvement
and constrained to instigating the Bloodborne Pathogens.
Allbright & Associates is related to the implementation of
Bloodborne Pathogens due to the fact that the workers are using
the sharps-related that may cause several diseases. This
organization will update the equipment to use in the safety
program like Bloodborne Pathogens.
Reasons for choosing the safety program
The bloodborne pathogens is the safety program selected for the
Allbright & Associates Inc. The pathogen is something that
causes disease. Germs that can produce long-lasting infection in
human blood and disease in humans are called bloodborne
pathogens (Twitchell & Wachs, 2003). Human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and
hepatitis C virus (HCV) are considered as the most common
bloodborne pathogens from which health care workers are at
risk. The bloodborne pathogens developed in the workplace
through sexual transmission or IV drug use (Gershon et al.,
2000). However, any contact with infected blood or body fluids
carries the risk of potential infection. Thus, the OSHA (2017)
provides the necessary information, irrational fears about
workplace exposure to HIV and HBV can be prevented.
The Allbright & Associates Inc. considered the bloodborne
pathogens program as a significant tool to ensure the safety of
their employees. Due to the kind of work at the Allbright &
Associates Inc., there is a possibility that the employees could
be exposed to hazards such as sharps injuries. Sharp injuries is
considered as top hazards for the company. The reason why this
program must be implemented in the organization is due to the
sharp and dangerous equipment used by the employees. Through
this program, the accidents that could result to minor to major
injuries will be prevented (Gerberding & Henderson, 1992).
Bloodborne pathogens program aims to protect the health and
safety of employees. As the employees performed their job
duties they are too exposed to bloodborne pathogens. Thus, the
Allbright & Associates Inc. should understand the importance of
minimizing or eliminating employee occupational exposure to
bloodborne pathogens. Aside from that, the company must
educate their people to become responsible for using proper
work practices, universal precautions, personal protective
equipment and cleanup or disposal techniques related to the
program. Implying the bloodborne pathogens program, it is
crucial for the employees of the company to follow the
guidelines developed by the OSHA. Employees of the
organization should be cautious. They must undergo training
and seminar in order to protect themselves from occupational
exposures to blood or other potentially infectious materials
(Twitchell & Wachs, 2003).
Education is the most important solution in order to prevent this
hazard. It is important to understand what the hazards of
bloodborne pathogens are. Furthermore, the company and
employees must utilize preventative measures to protect one
another from exposure to this hazard

Reasons for Choosing the Organization Allbright & Associates Inc. offer lots of services, particularly sales, repairs, and rents brands of air compressor. This organization is a crucial place of business in order to update and develop the safety program. It is not easy to decide as to which type of organization to use when starting a business. In doing this, having knowledge on all aspect of business should be considered, especially in the financial aspect. The top hazards for the air compressor industry as stated by Integrated Publishing is noise while running the machine or draining valves, compressed air can cause minute particles to be blown at high speed, sharp objects could cause cuts. This is why I choose to create a bloodborne pathogens safety program. While wearing hearing protection and other PPE requirements will help eliminate the noise and flying particles, what should happen if an employee is cut by an object while opening valve or particle coming out fast cuts their hand? Bloodborne pathogens are said to be the infectious microorganisms in human blood which can cause humans to have diseases such as hepatitis and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The organization is in the process of updating all the safety programs that could focus on employee involvement and constrained to instigating the Bloodborne Pathogens. Allbright & Associates is related to the implementation of Bloodborne Pathogens due to the fact that the workers are using the sharps-related that may cause several diseases. This organization will update the equipment to use in the safety program like Bloodborne Pathogens. Reasons for choosing the safety program The bloodborne pathogens is the safety program selected for the
  • 3. Allbright & Associates Inc. The pathogen is something that causes disease. Germs that can produce long-lasting infection in human blood and disease in humans are called bloodborne pathogens (Twitchell & Wachs, 2003). Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and hepatitis C virus (HCV) are considered as the most common bloodborne pathogens from which health care workers are at risk. The bloodborne pathogens developed in the workplace through sexual transmission or IV drug use (Gershon et al., 2000). However, any contact with infected blood or body fluids carries the risk of potential infection. Thus, the OSHA (2017) provides the necessary information, irrational fears about workplace exposure to HIV and HBV can be prevented. The Allbright & Associates Inc. considered the bloodborne pathogens program as a significant tool to ensure the safety of their employees. Due to the kind of work at the Allbright & Associates Inc., there is a possibility that the employees could be exposed to hazards such as sharps injuries. Sharp injuries is considered as top hazards for the company. The reason why this program must be implemented in the organization is due to the sharp and dangerous equipment used by the employees. Through this program, the accidents that could result to minor to major injuries will be prevented (Gerberding & Henderson, 1992). Bloodborne pathogens program aims to protect the health and safety of employees. As the employees performed their job duties they are too exposed to bloodborne pathogens. Thus, the Allbright & Associates Inc. should understand the importance of minimizing or eliminating employee occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Aside from that, the company must educate their people to become responsible for using proper work practices, universal precautions, personal protective equipment and cleanup or disposal techniques related to the program. Implying the bloodborne pathogens program, it is crucial for the employees of the company to follow the

They must undergo training and seminar in order to protect themselves from occupational exposures to blood or other potentially infectious materials (Twitchell & Wachs, 2003). Education is the most important solution in order to prevent this hazard. It is important to understand what the hazards of bloodborne pathogens are. Furthermore, the company and employees must utilize preventative measures to protect one another from exposure to this hazard References Allbright & Associates - Odessa, Texas. (2017). Services.
