and females with women having higher levels in both traits.

people. These characteristics are prosocial behaviours although likability is more prosocial than
popularity, considering popularity is more domineering than likability. This experiment has two
aims, the first, which is more close to the topic being discussed, is to discover the relationship
between personality and social status. The second is the relationship between the presumed higher–

students were used from 22 different junior high schools in the Nederland's, with a mean age of 14
and 10 months (SD=7months). Quick Big Five (Vermulst & Gerris, 2005) was used to measure

from 1–7 on how they thought the words reflected themselves. The popularity and likeability was
measured by peer reviews of each other. The results of this came out with extraversion,
agreeableness, emotional stability being linked to likability and extraversion being linked to

Suppresion of feelings was a big issue in the past because I would just bottle it up and explode, just

My whole life I have been intrigued by personality tests. I love seeing the results I get, even if the
test is about what type of pizza I am. However, the more tests I took, the easier it was to find the
patterns within the tests. I realized that most of the answers that are supposedly "tailored to me" are
just general personality traits that could apply to the majority of the population. The Strengths Quest
quiz was not one of these tests. Although I found a few similar questions, the quiz is so detailed that
it is easy to tell how unique each person's results will be. This quiz showed me parts of my
personality that I had never realized existed. When I first saw my results, I was quite shocked. My
top five traits were Maximizer, Individualization, Empathy, Analytical, and Belief. Maximizer and

The difference in their personality is not due to their day to day lives since we adopted them. They
were born in different situations and I think that has molded their personalities today. Tom's mother
was a stray and had her kittens in a backyard. The kittens were found and I adopted Tom with his
brother. I was told Tom got hurt as a kitten a lot. He burned his nose on the stove, fell from shelves,
and was dominated by his brother. I think this is why he is more skittish and exhibits the traits like
timid, fearful, and excitable. He has experienced the consequences of being curious and adventurous

The hypothesis for this investigation is that students who participate in team sports will on average
have higher scores in the continuum for each stage of the Big Five theory than students who play
individual sports. The investigation involved a questionnaire on 23 year twelve psychology students
who will be given 10 questions ranging from 1 to 5 in terms of their continuum with pairs of two
questions on each stage of OCEAN such as for openness to experience one of the questions has a
continuum from unimaginative to imaginative which the participant will rate themselves on. The
questionnaire is self–evaluated therefore the participant would answer based on their perception of
themselves. The results of each individual's answers will be kept anonymous to provide students
with their anonymity and to avoid any issues that may have arisen that would hinder the
investigation and affect the individuals. The results of the research have displayed the higher scores
in traits are often apparent in people who play team sports whereas lower scores are more prominent

Personally, there has been several instances when an employee was ridiculed because he/she expressed personality traits within the workplace, opposite of what the employer personally desired.
