have several subsidiaries that target many different
markets. Conglomerate companies are able to advertise
very effectively through their many markets, For
example, the promise of play listing
(allegedly, sometimes, coupled with the threat of
blacklisting) on its radio stations was used to secure
better deals from artists.

to help each other gain recognition or profit. Music artists
