2. Sign out overview
1. Visit the Technology Sign Out webpage on Fusion
2. Complete the Blackboard device training
3. Sign into your GAFE (Google) account
4. Submit a completed technology roster form for
each of your classes
5. View the proper technology calendar
6. Complete the appropriate request form
7. Await receipt of a confirmation email from the
librarians

3. 1) Visit the Technology Sign Out Page
• Located on Fusion
• Starting point to request any technology or labs in the
building

4. 2) Complete the Device Training Course
• The course you are currently working through
• Must pass the course prior to requesting/reserving
any technology in the building
• To be completed on an annual basis

5. 3) Sign into your GAFE account
• GAFE = North Stafford
Google account
• Username: Novell Login

• Required to access
calendars and request
forms
• Sign in first to avoid
problems
• Forgot your password?

6. 4) Submit the Technology Roster Form
• Assigns each student in your class a device number (1-
30)
• Regardless of the device, that is the numerical device they
should be using
• Replacement for the paper roster forms previously
attached to the laptop carts
• Must be completed for each of your courses

7. 5) View the Proper Technology Calendar
• 3 Calendars available
• Laptop sign out
• iPad sign out
• Labs/Tech Center
• Check to see if devices
are available
• An open time slot does
not guarantee that you
will be granted a device
or lab

8. 6) Complete the Appropriate RequestForm
• If a time slot is open, complete the corresponding
form
• Laptop request form
• iPad request form
• Computer Lab/TLC request form
• Forms must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance
of the date requested
• Equipment not reserved each day will be considered available
for maintenance work by the technology department

9. 7) Await a Confirmation Email
• The librarians will process all technology requests
once each day
• You will receiving an email confirming or denying your
technology request
• If confirmed you will be added to the appropriate
calendar
