3. A new study conducted by researchers at
Michigan State University and the University
of Vermont revealed that regular morning
exercise can help reduce attention deficit
symptoms in children. Published in the
Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, the
study found that every child participant
experienced attention benefits from
before-school aerobics, while children with
ADHD symptoms experienced the widest
range of positive outcomes.
4. The researchers gathered their findings
by observing 200 elementary school
children, in kindergarten through second
grade, over a 12-week time frame. The
control group participated in sedentary
indoor activities every morning, and the
study group engaged in vigorous
aerobics before school.
