RE: Michael Brangman – Robert Clements Scholarship
I write to give a reference for Mr Michael Brangman in support of his scholarship
application. Michael is known to me as a student on the BA (Hons) Accounting and
Finance Degree programme at the University of East London, which he commenced
in September 2014. Throughout his period of study so far, Michael has proven to be a
hardworking and dedicated student. With a keen determination to succeed, Michael
has been an outstanding student in his cohort, having achieved a distinction grade on
all the modules that he has undertaken to date.
Michael shows great enthusiasm in his studies and embraces tasks given in a diligent
manner. He has excellent written and verbal communication skills and works very
well when engaging in group or peer work. With an enquiring mind and the ability to
produce work that is of excellent quality, Michael is capable of achieving a first class
undergraduate degree at the end of his final year.
I would not hesitate to recommend Michael for the Robert Clements Scholarship
award since I believe that he has the capacity and the commitment to work to the best
of his ability in order to excel. Based on his academic performance and commitment
to succeed in higher education, I strongly believe that Michael is a deserving recipient
of a full award. This will also enable him to continue to pursue his undergraduate
degree on a full-time basis and achieve his full potential. I am therefore pleased to be
