2. Project Descrip6on
• By taking into considera6on the par6culari6es of the Chinese
language, I have developed a concept oriented database which
purpose is to store the vocabulary I learned during my two years
intensive language learning in China.
• The terminology database is mul6lingual (at the moment 4
languages), is modelled according to the rules of standardised
terminology management (ISO 704:2000) and provides exports and
imports for the different linguis6c categories.
• The database is the result of a (personal) language learning
experiment and bases on a profound knowledge of terminology
management, linguis6c, informa6on modelling and rela6onal
databases.
• In the field links I will provide links which relate to my blog and to
my weibo account (the Chinese TwiSer).
