Capture everything
Don't trust your brain.

* NEXT ACTION. On a project, what is the next *physical action* that you need to take to move a project forward?
* Take five minutes to write down everything on your mind right now what you need to do. Think about work, home, your car, your pets...
* There's probably a lot more than you realize.
* If you don't write it down, it's all rattling around inside your head, trying to get your attention.
One last item about CAPTURE
How many inboxes do you have?
This is why a consolidate task list is so important - it's a collection of all the inputs you're getting every day from all of these inboxes.
Do: David Allen: If it takes 2 minutes or less, do it now.
Plan: if it takes more than 2 minutes, WHEN will you do it? (NOT NOW is acceptable)

* Trash: Get rid of it!
Weekly: What can you mark as "done"? What is no longer needed? What do you need to prepare for next week?
