The darkness surrounds me
It's getting so cold
I'm all alone
With no one to hold
My world is so empty
All what's left is pain
No sunshine to light my way
Just never ending rain

7. I drown in tears
My heart is crying
No one seems to notice
My soul is dying

8. She Doesn't Know I Love Her
Her beautiful eyes are nothing like ours
They're so deep and bright you'd believe they were
stars
They pour forth emotions in raging rivers
They could make even me believe that Santa always
delivers
And still she has no idea
Her body is perfection though she denies it
It makes my head spin with every glance I give
She could put any man under her spell
But she doesn't know how I feel and I don't think I'll
tell

9. I love how she looks and who she is
And how she makes me feel like this
I love how she's beautiful and smart with a heart so strong
And how she lives every day like nothing could go wrong
Still she hasn't got a clue
Now school is at an end on the 11th at noon
I wonder if she cares that I'm moving soon
We're parting that day after schools many months
I just wish I could have kissed her just once
Now that I've said it with my poetic skill
I don't think she knew, and now she never will

10. Never Part
When I saw you
in the hall,
I knew you would
be the best of all.
I talked to you for
the very first time,
you ended up being
my partner in crime.
When you cry
I'm going to cry too,
because the pain
is shared between me and you.

11. Since we're going
a different way,
don't be sad because
in my heart you will stay
Miles apart
but friends from the start,
I know in my heart
we will never part.

20. Who Is The Rich Man?
One day a wealthy father took his son on a trip to
the country so that the son could see how the poor
lived. They spent a day and a night at the farm of a
very poor family. When they got back from their
trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?"
"Very good, Dad!" "Did you see how poor people
can be?" "Yeah!" "And what did you learn?" The
son answered, "I saw that we have a dog at home,
and they have four.

21. The Obstacle in our Path
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a
roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see
if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of
the kirig's wealthiest merchants and courtiers
came by and simply walked around it. Many
loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads
clear, but none did anything about getting the
stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along
carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching
the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden
and tried to move the stone to the side of the
road.

22. . After much pushing and straining, he finally
succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of
vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road
where the boulder had been. The purse contained
many gold coins and a note from the king
indicating that the gold was for the person who
removed the boulder from the roadway. The
peasant learned what many of us never
understand. Every obstacle presents an
opportunity to improve our condition.

23. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the
garden; they have a creek that has no end. We
have imported lamps in the house; they have the
stars. Our patio reaches to the front yard; they
have the whole horizon." When the little boy was
finished, the father was speechless. His son then
added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we
are!"

achievements in life.

28. Example # 1
Our love brought us both so much comfort,
a picture of Christ and His Church,
a true love that finally was severed
and I stand here alone in my hurt.
Oh why did you go off and leave me,
How will I ever go on?
You went with God's angels to heaven,
and left me to face life alone.


29. I will leave my hurt to my Savior,
trust Him with the rest of my life,
to comfort the pain of my sorrow,
and my soul cut in half with His knife.
I will see you again my dear loved one,
when I make my abode in the sky,
where we'll praise and sing songs to our
Savior,
and nevermore ever will die.

30. While I stay down here and grieve.
Yet I am constantly thankful for
The laughter and the joy,
For all we did together,
For the mischief you'd often employ.
My joy for you overflows
That you're in heaven with God our
maker,

31. While I am slowly plodding on
To catch up with you later.
My mind ponders the question..
What is death? Did you face it without
fear?
In reality I only know
That you are just not here.
That's all, you are just not here.

LIFE STEPS
Our entire life is made up of choices,
What we decide,
the action we take,
the attitude we display
All represent the steps of life.
Sometimes we take two steps forward
And one-step back.
Some of us take baby steps
Some of us take giant steps


33. But the secret is not to let that
one step back turn into a failure.
Learn from backward steps
 And keep on stepping forward in this dance
Called Life!

34. Example # 3
Allow Yourself To Fight
There are some days you may feel,
As if things just aren't going right.
No amount of attempts to avoid,
You step into the big mud puddle despite!
On these days to give up would be easy,
You'd like to just walk away.
And sometimes taking a step back,
May be exactly the right way.

35. But at a point you'll have to decide,
If you're going to let them win.
This is the time that you'll look deep inside,
And see if you have it within.
When you are ready to take the next step,
And show that you are ready to fight.
Avoid what you can and it's okay if you can't,
Cause know matter what, you'll be all right.

NO REGRETS
There is only one thing about which I shall have no
regrets when my life ends.
I have savored to the full all the small, daily joys.
The bright sunshine on the breakfast table;
the smell of the air at dusk;
the sound of the clock ticking;
the light rains that start gently after midnight;
the hour when the family come home;
Sunday evening tea before the fire!

37. I have never missed one moment of beauty,
not ever taken it for granted.
Spring, summer, autumn, or winter.
I wish I had failed as little in other ways.

Count Your Blessings
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your joys instead of your woes;
Count your friends instead of your foes.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your full years instead of your lean;
Count your kind deeds instead of your mean.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Love your neighbor as much as yourself.

Giving Our Best
Every day that we are alive,
We should be asking ourselves whether we,
Are we giving our best to each day,
This is something we may not all see.
See each day we are given is a gift,
And to waste it would be very wrong.
But our lives are just that,
Ours to do with and hope our life's long.

40. But that's just it, our lives may not be long,
And come to an end before we are ready.
Don't be that person, who regrets,
Live your life full and steady.
Close your eyes and go to sleep,
Knowing you've conquer your day.
You'll life will be very successful,
And you'll be happy to look back when you're gray.
