SENIOR PROJECT. FALL 2007, Middle Tennessee State University
By isolating a specific time-space arena and causing an interaction of behavior patterns within the social setting,
the intended effect to result is that of awareness and understanding to the art of conceptual design.

Prior experiences strengthen individuals meaning systems by refocusing and extending their expectations of how
things are suppose to be. Instead of attaching adapted meanings to presented material, attempt to objectively decipher the
intended message by moving past personal influences and reflecting upon the
systems in which we use to make sense of unfamiliar information.

The art of conceptual design is an intentional control of an artistically executed concept. Form and functionality work
interchangeably throughout its contextual relationship of purpose and resolution.
By transforming past our perceptions, we can begin to understand what is being communicated.

The primary imagery that is used to relay this transformative process was originally utilized as a mathematical model generated
to illustrate altered states of consciousness. The application of this imagery to the transformative learning theory was bridged
by connecting individual’s consciousness of reality with the actual degree of awareness of their personal perspective. The
difference being, that of which is the altered state, as well as that of which is in need of transformation.
