The man Mengele was working with, Dr Omar Von Verschuer, was also widely known for having a fascination with twins, more specifically
identical twins. Mengele performed a range of experiments on as many as 1500 sets of twins. Some of these experiments were chemically changing
eye colour, conjoining twins and even seeing how long they could last with breathing in poisonous gas daily. He also attempted to work with genetics
