1. Formulating a question for your Research Paper
What is your research topic?
Ask up to 7 questions about your general topic. The best questions fulfill the following criteria:
• It asks a question
• It is interesting to you
• Other people will have written about it too. For example, you will most likely be
able to acquire information for on it.
You will write 3 body paragraphs on your topic/question – Make sure that there is a lot written
about it.
• It is an issue. You will be able to take a stand on the topic.
For example:
Wayne Gretsky inspired and changed the game of hockey.
There is too much violence in the NHL.
