1. What makes me a good candidate to teach over the next CMU graduate? What makes me a better candidate to teach than the next CMU graduate, is the fact that I want to become a teacher because I have a passion for sharing what I know to better the education of students. I am not in the Education program for an easy degree as the stereotype states. I am a math major which will not be easy, but I love math and I want to teach it because it is something that all students have to take all the way through at least their first year of college. It should not be a subject that students hate, and I want to help them learn to like it. I find students succeeding enjoyable especially when I know they learned from what I taught them. I cannot wait to become a teacher and share my passion with all of my students.
