as "KMBF" completes its 109 years of existence on 25th November 2012.

v The Fund was founded by the late Rao Bahadur Sir N.Krishnaswamy Iyengar
on 25-11-1903 and stewarded by many doyens of the city of Kumbakonam in
the subsequent periods of time.

4. ABOUT THE KMBF
The Fund is the only one of its kind in India which has touched
the century mark in respect of number of branches, spread over
Tamil Nadu of one branch at Karaikal.
The total number of Shareholders of our Fund will shortly touch
the 10,00,000 mark and the total number of Staff working in
the fund are about 1000.
5. They are being governed by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
They are accept deposits from our shareholders within the stipulated norms issued by
the Ministry of Corporate Affairs
The funds mobilized are utilized to a great extent for advance of Gold Loans.
