  1. 1. Learnist is a look-a-like website like Pinterest that allows users to create and shareeducational ideas that they are interested in learning about. Learnist is a true Web2.0 because it is free to sign up, it can be used by people everywhere and they cancommunicate while using it, and it also is available to people you want to see whatyou are doing and to see things that you share interests in.Getting Started:1. In your web address box type in the URL for Learnist. (Learnist.com)2. To sign up, click the icon that says sign up. You can sign up using Facebookor an email address.Once you are logged in, a screen will pop up asking what you are interested in.You click all that apply to your interests.
  2. 2. After you click those interests, you will be directed to another page that asks if youwould like to share your interests with anyone. You can share these interests viaemail, Facebook, etc.After that, it will take you to a screen that will allow you to customize your profile.You can select an image and create a biography.
  3. 3. Then, it will take you to the main page of learnist, which gives you step by stepinstructions on how to use the site.
  4. 4. You will see individual videos and descriptions on the main page of Learnisttelling what each step is. You have to click the play button and watch all of thevideos. This entire page is a tutorial on how to use the website.
  5. 5. Learnist can be used many different ways in the classroom:1) Collect and share ideas2) No limit3) Beneficial for teacher to expand learningPros:1) All the different ideas available2) Great for teachers of any specializationCons:1) They send too many emails that explain stuff.
